Carved out a great journeyman career. Happy to see him tack on those two cups.

We shall never forget trying to spell your name.
My condolences to your equipment manager who has to plaster that name on the back of your jersey.
Congrats McBackup!

Scoring Winger
Looking back that was kind of a cringe interview to keep reminding him that he will keep playing behind Kipper lol.
I met him when he came in to my work with his kid just after he got traded. We wished him the best and he was a super humble guy.
Hope he enjoys his retirement.
Edit: lol I just realized Ron said the same. Haha

I enjoyed seeing him have such a successful career after he left us. He had some great seasons and was well-liked everywhere he played.

All I can get
It's a shame the Flames never gave him his own dressing room stall, and instead made him sit on an upturned garbage can.

Forever a flame for c-Mac?
I am assuming this $9million went far as I saw in him an ultra cuts one day getting his hair done.
A bit of a shame the team seemed to play terrible for him every time he was in

I met him twice and he seemed like the nicest guy.
I mean, come on. You'd have to be something special to steal games from Kipper, thats just bad luck.
That being said, I agree wholeheartedly, I loved seeing him have success once he moved along.

That's great. Good thing he got out of Calgary. A lot of people on here were so spoiled by Kipper that they had the nerve to pile on him for losing 1-0 or 2-1, after being the MVP of the game by a mile.

Sad to see the last QC Flame leave the NHL. I always thought he looked great in the AHL and then would sit for such long stretches that he would be rusty and/or the team was timid in front of him. Super glad he was able to make a solid career though. He was supposed to be at a meet and greet with Prust and Warren Peters I was at back in 07. But he was late and I had to leave early. My wife got to meet him and apparently told him all about my days as a goalie when I was a kid. I'm sure he was very impressed.
