That show is so well acted, that’s what sets it apart. But agree with you, kind of wish they’d left it after S1 even though the acting remains strong.

Some good content on HBO/crave recently.
I’ve already mentioned in the other thread how good Hacks was.
The Tiger documentary was riveting, his dad sure was a scumbag.
Interesting doc called The Scheme about cheating in NCAA basketball and an FBI coverup/incompetence.
Finished White Lotus and it was phenomenal but so very dark.
New Jeff Daniels series called American Rust. Reviews are mediocre but I’m a fan of Daniels so I’ll give it a shot.
Sharp Objects is on my watchlist. It isn’t exactly recent but heard it’s good.

Sharp Objects was quite good. Kind of a Mare of Easttown vibes. Hightown was enjoyable, though nobody really talks about it. Wellington Paranormal is better than expected.

The Scheme was phenomenal. NCAA basketball bribery scandal. I don’t remember this because I don’t follow CBB but it was fascinating and infuriating. As usual the little guy gets screwed, government and law enforcement are crooked and incompetent, while the ncaa is corrupt. So not exactly anything groundbreaking but fascinating insight into just how much cash is king. They literally sent a guy to jail because he wanted a piece of that pie.

I f-cking love Curb, and my wife does not get it at all. So amazing.

Finally got the chance to get around to watching Band of Brothers. Such a well done mini-series.

Looking forward to season 3 of Succession tomorrow. This was such a great show, where you really didn't like any character for too long. Except maybe Connor Roy.

Tom Wambsgans! What a character. Such a good show I watched the first two seasons twice.

Crave has gone ahead and gotten rid of their tier setup. All their HBO + Movies are now available at the base plan.
I’m watching Billions these days (Showtime), and still working my way through Sopranos.

I've been rewatching Boardwalk Empire. I originally only watched it as the episodes were released.
It's a great show that doesn't get the same love that Sopranos gets, which it should. The Richard Harrow character is especially incredible.

I’m guessing this crashed the whole service. Well played Bell.

Seems so. Even when I can login, it says I'm not subscribed.
