Abbotsford Heat win their season opener coming from behind to defeat Grand Rapids 3-2 in a shoot out. Carter Bancks with a goal and an assist and Leland Irving making 36 saves for the win and first star.

You can check them out on http://www.theahl.com it's on the right side of the homepage about half way down.

Sadly, it usually takes a day or two for the guys on the Heat site to get some highlights up.
