Sigh. Don't you think that would be a little too cliche and expected? He should just stay true to his character and wipe out the others, but I guess that isn't as Disney-esque as him doing a Darth Vader/Anakin or Kylo Ren/Ben Solo realization at the very end of things.
Something's gotta wipe out the Batch...why not Crosshair?

True but Star Wars always seems to focus around two key hero's journey themes. One is redemption, and the other is the heroic sacrifice. So it just makes sense.
I mean going on the whole idea that there are no clones by the time of ANH at least in the Imperial Military that the Clones, the Bad Batch and Crosshair have to die. So having an Empire versus rebelling Clones scenario makes ultimate sense.
Originally I would say that having some survive would be Star Wars with its theme of hope, but Rogue One and its ending says differently to me.
Right now Crosshair isn't a true villain. He does some pretty crappy things in the name of following orders, not his belief that they are the right orders, and that kind of makes things worse for Crosshair. He knows that the Empire isn't right, but chooses to follow that path. So what's going to change that? I'm pretty sure that the murder of Wilco who was murdered for being a good soldier would not sit right with him.
So it puts him in an interesting position if the Empire has their own version of Order 66 for the Clones, and it has to be there because Palpatine up until the ST was the ultimate planner.
The only thing that gives hope that the Batch really survives this is the survival of Cody, Gregor and Wolffe who sidestepped the war.
I think the only other Clones that we can look at as survivors were the original Dark Trooper phase 0 who used Clone brains and cybernetics.
Star Wars will stick to a certain formula. Redemption and Hope, so yeah I believe that at the very very end Crosshair will be confronted with orders versus doing the right thing and willingly sacrfice himself to save his brothers.
I almost hope that the Batch do die out, sadly, because the idea of slaughtering a child would be distastful. But if the Batch survives their own series it puts questions into for example the Rebels series.

As for Season 3? Yeah...you can just go ahead and hook that directly into my veins.
I would imagine he’s moved into RDJ Iron Man territory where he’s basically
Not there unless his face is being seen. Disney would also save a ton of money by paying a stunt man vs Pascal on the daily. I’d be surprised if it’s much more than voice work for him now.

Exactly. It's largely a VO role for him. They were filming S3 the same time as Pedro was here filming TLoU

So watching that trailer are we finally going to see how Grogu got rescued and who saved him. Are we going to see Anakin coming through that door and slaughtering Jedi?

Yeah, and I wouldn't be shocked if we see him as a force ghost in Ahsoka either.
I would really hope they don't do any direct Vader Ahsoka confrontations. The one from Rebels was utterly perfect, and addressed her tremendous guilt over Anakin's fall

Totally, but the way I'm thinking Dave Filoni can't leave it alone, he follows that up with the redeeming force ghost recreating some sober second thought for 'Snips' that mirrors TCW. I don't think Dave can help himself and not do that.

Pretty much a filler episode yesterday, but I thought it was tremendously fun, with only one possible plot point moving forward
Spoiler!
Nothing on the Empire front, no Crosshairs, or Cody
Hunter and Echo were off hauling freight, it shows how desparate they are for money, not every mission can be a pew pew fight for freedom.
Tay-0 (I think that I spelled that right) was awesome, a droid with a massive ego. But just when you kind of really start liking a character Filoni kills it off .
The plot was really simple. The racing looked really good as did the animation work and music.
It was nice to see a episode where Tech was the hero and really the main character. Wrecker as always was fun, the look on his face when confronted by someone bigger was awesome.
The warning that Cid will stab the batch in the back is out there now. They're trusting her a little too much and she's acting as too much of a mother figure. I assume if the Empire throws out a large enough reward tof rebellious clones that she will jump on it.
Now we know what's happening to the B1 and Commando Droids, they're becoming racers.
