#Flames turned the tide after a rough first period. 5v5 possession 53.5%. Devils 13-10 edge in high danger chances.

A little bit similarish to the Penguins game in the first. Flames played better after(if only a little) the 1st. After an extended, but not as long break too.

Nico Hirscher impressed me with his speed and ability to read the play. Reminds me of Gaudreau and his ability to make plays. Kid is going to be a good one

Been saying this for weeks. Get Versteeg and his predictable slapper and low percentage cross ice feed off the PP. Stone has a cannon.

This was a very entertaining game, and I thought the team looked more loose and determined than previous games. Hopefully the offense is starting to come around now. Three straight against three really good teams? I like where this season is going.

It's too bad Monahan's ceiling is a Ryan Smyth garbage-goal player....

Seriously though, does anyone think Stone wins Hamonic's spot on the 2nd line? That was a great paring last year.

Well, that was an oddball to watch, but some fun stuff, to be sure.

Way to go, Flames!

Even after he left the Oilers and my anti-Oiler bias has been minimized, to me, Hall still looks like he plays with a brain like a cinder block.

Stone is a player who elevates his game and offense when responsibility and minutes go up. To everyone saying it was a waste of money and "excessive", injuries happen on defense and a decent blueline can turn too thin way too quickly.

Hall is such a great player. The fact the Oilers traded him for 4Th D warms my cold
Heart. Him and McDavid would be unstoppable together.

Lemieux use do do the same thing. I'm not saying they're the same person but i've never seen them in the same room together.

Plus getting a shoot out goal could help get his confidence going and play improving.

There's a consistent sentiment around here that struggling players need to be abandoned, told how crappy they are and replaced by some AHL'r.

Thankfully the professional coaching staff of this team knows that's not always the right answer to get a guy going.

Probably because Versteeg is a career 30% on the shootout. His move tonight almost worked too.

Think that is your Oiler bias. He was easily one of the best and most dangerous player on the ice tonight.
