Good luck Freddie! Sad but true - he just never impressed but for the odd glimpse.

Now people can focus all their excess Jankowski anxiety on Brouwer and Bennett

I'm sure he will clear, and obviously so much better to have Janko around.

This can't be right. What about all the posters that claimed Freddie had to stay as it was part of Dougie's happiness/contract?

The right move (or Glass for all I care). Would love to see another move that opened up a spot for Hathaway on the 4th line. Maybe Stajan can be a Glencross type deal at the deadline and we still make the playoffs.

I know this is the right move, I really hope though that DH has matured and won't be affected by this, provided there is anything to him needing his brother around. I have DH in my hockey pool and need him haha.

I honestly don't think that's the way good GMs operate.

I think Jagr took Jankowski's spot and with that he went down. Since then Bennett hasn't found his game and Jagr got hurt so they made some changes. With those changes Jankowski came up and has proven in a 4 game sample size that he can hold his own in a regular season NHL game.

So now you move Hamilton not because Jankowski has proven he's better, as that was always the case, but now that Jankowski seems to have proven he's better than the next guy in line to be a healthy scratch most nights which I'm guessing is Lazar and/or Glass. Or I guess put more simply, now that Jankowski has proven he's a better option in the top 9 than other players. That couldn't be known from just a preseason look.
