Could you imagine a team with an impending cap crunch signing Wideman? Wow.

The reason I click on this thread is because I am really hopeful I will get to read about the next stupid thing the Oilers have done. I miss that.
When the Young Stars Classic begins I hope this can be about the incredible lack of depth that the Oilers have. Puljujärvi will be a bust.
Whoa there! Lets not say things we cant take back! I dont know if this thread has ever been anywhere near that bad!

Slepyshev was a candidate to get some playing time with Connor McDavid on the right side of the top line.
In 41 games last season with the Oilers last season, Slepyshev had four goals and six assists.
I don't get it. Is it supposed to be an army captain's uniform because he is the captain?
I get the one where McDavid is stomping on the Flames player. Oilers fans have a massive inferiority complex with Calgary. I also get the one comparing McDavid and others to the stars of the 80s. Oilers fans love reminiscing about the 80s. This one makes zero sense though, am I missing something?
It's a good marketing ploy for the radio station though. Oilers fans love anything related to the team especially if it involves McJesus.

Overthinking the situation much?

Knowing that E=NG doesn't take much thinking at all.
On its' own it is just a silly painting however this isn't the first example. It is at least the third McDavid painting I have seen so far, not including the McDavid as Jesus ones which I am not sure are actual paintings or just photo shops. This proves a few points:
1. Oilers fans have no taste in art.
2. Oilers fans have downed the entire jug of Kool-Aid and will go crazy for absolutely anything Oiler or McDavid related no matter how tacky or ridiculous.
3. Edmonton is no good.

I think he looks like the Kaiser. New nickname, Connar McKaiser?
There's being a fan then there's being a creepy, obsessed fan on a Belieber type level with too much time, and amazingly nothing better to create than some glorifying painting of a pimple faced millionaire that doesn't give a hoot about them.
Then to have such atrocious creations celebrated? Dear lord. What a town..
