Larry David should play Doc Brown if they remake Back to the Future at any point.

Yikes, that monologue was so cringe-inducing I could barely watch

Yes, cringe inducing but memorable. Seems more like a bit the Larry David character on Curb Your Enthusiasm (who is more clueless than the real Larry David) would do, which makes it interesting. I was thinking it would be great if the backlash he is receiving over the monologue becomes the basis of a future Curb Your Enthusiasm episode.
The sketch where Larry David introduces his new wife who is into gay culture was memorable too. Larry David was made to say lots of absurd lines (including references to PWR BTTM), which obviously tickled Larry David so much he could not contain his laughter.
I'm becoming really impressed with Heidi Gardner as well.

The monologue was so Larry David. It's the exact humour he does on Curb. I was actually surprised he took so much heat for the concentration camp jokes. I'm assuming only by people who have no idea who he is or have never seen curb. One of the benefits of being on hbo I guess.

I love Curb and get his humor but it wasn't the right audience. The reactions, or lack thereof, made it hard to watch.

I was referring to the uproar he caused with the subject matter of joking about sexual harassment and the holocaust.
Although I'd say his humour is meant to induce cringeworthy reactions. It maybe doesn't work well with a live audience because of the expectation for laughs.

Tiffany Haddish episode best overall recent show? Thought she was funny and brought a lot of energy. Good monologue. “If you’ve got your thing out, and she’s got all her clothes on, you’re in the wrong”. Will Boo Boo Jefferies become the next David S. Pumpkins? When Scorponox punches Boo Boo, she just says, “No,” and walks away.
Heidi Gardner did an incredible Kristen Schaal.
Everyone including Lorne punching Jost at the Masquerade Ball.

Cecily Strong comes on as Claire from H.R. to give a seminar about harassment in the workplace. It’s as much a display of simmering anger as it is a character piece, and feels like a necessary catharsis.
Gerald the Dolphin: “Hand. Now. Who gonna J me O?”
I missed Whiskers R We, which is usually great.

I thought Gardner's face was so familiar when she first showed up on SNL, and now I know why.

I thought that was one of the worst episodes of this season for sure, maybe the last couple years. The only parts I enjoyed were in the pre-recorded bits, not the live stuff.

Agreed, I thought it was mostly terrible.
The creepy dolphin sketch is based on a real incident BTW...

Peter the bottlenose dolphin, who is said to have killed himself after being separated from the woman he "loved" -- animal researcher Margaret Howe Lovatt
"It was very precious. It was very gentle," Howe says in the film."It was sexual on his part. It was not sexual on mine. Sensuous, perhaps."
When the project, perhaps inevitably, lost its funding, Peter was moved from the Dolphin House to a dreary, isolated tank in Miami, where he became increasingly depressed. Lovatt says she was eventually told that Peter died after refusing to breathe.

I couldn't stop laughing during Whiskers are We. It was too perfect with the cats constantly trying to get out of the box.

I was dying with the boo boo Jefferies skit.
Part of it is remembering playing those games in an arcade and you pick the wrong character accidently so you try out the specials and it goes terribly.

I loved the hockey skit! Family Feud was much better than usual.
Pete Davidson was really funny

Here is Staten Island Advance's coverage on Pete Davidson's roast of Staten Island. The comment section is pretty harsh. Many Staten Islanders took the digs personally even though Pete Davidson made fun of himself as well as his home borough. I personally thought it was the highlight of Pete Davidson's career so far on SNL. I know he has taken Staten Island down a couple of times in previous commentaries but last night's was really strong, mainly because of the mocking comparison between how the Advance covers Colin Jost and himself. Davidson is so hilarious on those Comedy Central roasts so I'm always glad to see him bring that insult comedy to SNL.

Kate Mckinnons, Jeff Sessions is one of my favorites.
She is nailing all the characters.
