This was terrible to read of his death today. Wow, way too young to leave his family behind. Was hoping for the best yesterday but saddened to read this news today.
Rest in peace young man.

I assumed that as a young athlete at the peak of health he would be able to recover easily. I truly feel awful for his friends and family. Never having heard of a colloid cyst before, I find this absolutely terrifying.

Colby was my wife's cousin, on her moms side.
Colbys parents flew to Toronto to be with him from Saskatchewan as soon as they found out.
This completely came out of nowhere and the saddest thing is Colbys wife and Colbys parents were not allowed to be with him because of the Covid pandemic.
He was stable last night, so it was a surprise that his heart failed so quickly. The pressure on his brain must have been astronomical.
It is so sad, as he had so much life ahead, and he was still a kid. Life can change in a second. My heart goes out to Colbys wife and his family and friends.

This is just gut wrenching. Never something you want to see happen to anyone let alone a 25 year old with a young family. My heart and prayers go out to his family.

Absolutely devastating news for any family. One can only hope that he didn't know when it hit him and didn't suffer.

I just went and read the post. They hadn't even had their first wedding anniversary together. OMG, so, so sad.
