Yeah, never been a fan of players pulling the strings behind the scenes. To some degree I lost a bit of respect for Kawhi when he pulled that off, but there was a kings ransom paid to OKC so I guess it works out for their fans.

As awesome as Denver is, they must be tired AF. Beating both LA teams I’d estimate would probably be a 30% chance at best after maxing our games that much.

There is no way the Nugs are beating Lebron. Lucky to not get swept against them. Jokic is going to look like an extra from Dawn of the Dead by game 2.

Full marks to the Nuggets, Murray was clearly fantastic.
That was odd seeing Kawhi struggle. Forcing some bad shots, then missing his open looks beyond the arc, missing his mid-range jumper, turning the ball over near the end. Very un-Kawhi.
Also, just to add; this should reinforce that winning an NBA championship is in fact very hard. Simply adding Kawhi to a team doesn't give you a championship, and clearly neither does adding Kawhi and Paul George. Raptors fans should still be reveling in their championship from last year, and the lack of respect that I feel that championship team still gets chaps my ass.

I’m not a Raptors fan so have a different perspective maybe but I feel like that team got a lot of respect. Compare to other teams that won a single championship (unless they win more obviously) like the Mavs or the 2004 Pistons and I feel they compare rather favorably.

Raptors didn’t get a lot of respect. Kawhi did. Basically the view on most from last year was:
1. Warriors were too injured and Raps got a pass in the final.
2. It was Kawhi.

Well if true I guess there is one way to change that.

Kawhi really could’ve used someone like Kyle Lowry last night

Do you mean winning in a certain era because the Pistons have won 3 NBA titles.

The Nuggets join the MLB's Royals and the NHL's Wild as the only teams to come back from two 3-1 deficits in the same playoff season!

I was referring to the 2004 Pistons, a team that people typically forget about. Not the franchise as the bad boys was an entirely different team
The lack of respect thing is kind of silly really. You won the trophy, that’s the prize and everyone else has sour grapes.

That Pistons team deserves to say they've been disrespected, they beat the Lakers "Dream Team" of Shaq, Kobe, Karl Malone and Gary Payton, and they did so in an asskicking that would have been a sweep if they fouled Kobe at the end of game 2 instead of letting him launch the tying 3. The Raps "disrespect" is, frankly, correct. That doesn't change or cheapen the title, it still has to be won and scoreboard beats "what if". But it's hard to imagine them beating the Warriors with Durant. I mean if Klay didn't tear his ACL in game 6 they might not have even won the title at all. But you take advantage of your opportunities, and the Raps did exactly that.

Jeremy Lin recently announced he's leaving the CBA with the intention of making an NBA comeback.
Has any team shown any interest in signing him as a free agent, or is he just hoping he can find a spot somewhere?
