Went for a jog with this on and it either didn't work or my route wasnt near enough population? Had the inscense on too and nothing while i was jogging. I walked back through the community and then it worked so i dont know. Does it work if you run?

Anyways found some evolved Pokemon but nothing crazy. I still don't really get the hype. Does it get better as you level up? Or is it simply walking around trying to find Pokemon? Just figured out you have to incubate eggs to hatch them lol. Owell.

I think the server problems are messing with the populations. Also seems sometimes when the screen is off the GPS gets shut out as well.

It's supposed to be you battle at gyms at stuff but I haven't tried that yet. Is there any other way to level up your catches other than feeding them cannibalistic candies derived from their fallen comrades?

What do you do with all the multiples of pokemon you catch?

Managed to find a location with a lure and hung around for 30 mins.

All we caught was Pidgeys.

Convert them to candy, but I was hoping that gyms would allow you to train them up, etc.

Got a machop and bunch of eevees and you want as many eevees as you can get.

My daughter loves eevees so that would have been perfect!

It was showing a Hypno in the area but never saw it. Just kept getting Pidgeys.

Tap the Pokeball on the bottom-middle of the screen, then select Pokemon when the menu pops up. This should bring up the inventory of Pokemon you have captured.

Tap on an individual Pokemon, scroll to the very bottom, and you'll see Transfer. If you select it, it will transfer the Pokemon to the Professor you met at the beginning of the game, and in return you will get a candy for that particular breed of Pokemon.

Careful: once you transfer that Pokemon you can't get it back. I've been transferring my low-end Pidgys and Weedles (of which I have tons), holding onto the evolved or high-CP ones, and then evolving others for XP.

Eevees can get turned into a few different more powerful pokemon. Just sacrifice enough eevees into candies to feed to the strongest and evolve him to one of the more powerful versions.

Make sure though to get them maxed CP first otherwise it affects the next evolves size and max CP.

I believe she wants to go for a Vaporeon. I have two Eevees at 101CP. I've been lucky in the ones I do find are quite large.

Apparently there is a trick to get the evolution you want from an Evee by renaming them something before evolving them. 'Rainer' is supposed to get you Vapereon. Maybe Google it for more info.

I read somewhere that if you name your eevee which of the 3 you want that is the one it will evolve into.
