Spoiler!

This season has drawn me in as much as the previous one had, this one is a lot more creepy/gross out. Also I think I enjoyed season 1 a lot more because of the time period, having it be set in the 1960's just sort of disconnects it from me.

I liked Part 2 of Anne Frank. We've got a little Texas Chainsaw Massacre meets Saw meets Auschwitz going on now.

Plenty to come with Kit's storyline I'm assuming.

So the lady was indeed Anne Frank? I mean she recognized the doctor as being a Nazi and all and we have seen that he is indeed a nazi based on the picture.

Or is she not Anne Frank but still a survivor?

Sister Jude is becoming Sister Fister.

I doubt we'll ever find out if she was actually Ann Frank or she became obsessed with the camps and saw Arden in the picture. He must have done a good job on the lobotomy she wasn't drooling at all.

She might not even be a surviver as her husband talked about her making the tattoo, I think he was sincere

I'm surprised that there hasn't been more discussion around Sister Mary who has become very menacing in the show.

hmm I wonder what will ever happen to Lana

And the Kit story has lost some steam because so much other amazing and evil stuff is going on at the same time

I got the idea she wasn't a survivor or Anne Frank. She'd just become obsessed with the idea. She happened to have a picture of Nazis she stared at everyday. It just so happens that Dr. Arden was in that picture (or so we're led to believe now), which is how she recognized him.

So to sum up, she's not Anne Frank or a holocaust survivor, but that doesn't mean she wasn't telling the truth about about Dr. Arden being a nazi.

Lobotomies have totally unpredictable results. In some cases they actually work, in that they cure people of mental illness without any noticeable side effects. Obviously, sometimes they leave people as vegetables.

A pretty ineteresting case is Howard Dully:

The lobotomy created all sorts of issues for him but drooling wasn't one.

I thought the first season was much scarier and had a stronger psychological component to it, even though this season is set in an actual asylum. It just seems a little bit more far-fetched and more like a typical horror movie than the first.

I'm still enjoying it, though.

I actually enjoyed this season a little more than last. The Asylum was more creepy than the house and I liked how they spanned decades to tell the story. It was more supernatural than just ghosts.

I think they wrapped up this season nicely.

Can't wait to see the angle for the third season.

I was quite disappointed with season one as I thought it dragged on and on.

Would you guys say that season 2 was better than the first?

I loved the ending to season 2, I think the last few episodes were great, but maybe that's because they were no longer in the asylum.

I probably liked the first season overall better, but both were quite good. It also didn't hurt that in season one we had that hot red head walking out half naked most of the season.

I'll be back next season for sure, love anthologies like these! Although Twilight Zone and Tales From the Crypt are better than AHS.

Like season one, I really only liked bits an pieces of asylum. I dont love this show and wouldn't put it in my top 10 current, but it's still fun. I didn't like the alien angle. I thought it was really unnecessary. But the Bloody Face stuff was great especially in the last few episodes.

I'd say S2 was on par with S1. Maybe a 6.5/10 show for me.

That's pretty much my thoughts on S1 minus the specifics. There's a couple other series that I need to check out before I sit down with S2.

I wasn't a huge fan of the Alien storyline. It was never really cleared up and I couldn't figure out what to make of it. Overall I did really enjoy the season though. Episode 8, "Unholy Night", with the Santa Clause lunatic scared the #### out of me. I don't know what it was, but it had me on the edge of my seat the whole time.

The guy that played Santa, and I can't remember his name can play menace like no other.

How can you not remember who that was? Shameful. Ian McShane from Deadwood.

And yes he is a scary, intimating mother.

Yeah, I should be ashamed, the guy is amazing in every movie he's in. He made Death Race a better movie.

but he was especially good in American Horror Story.

Just finished watching the last episode for season 2. Season 1 was better overall I think. Season 2 showed flashes of brilliance, but I was simply more spooked out during season 1 than season 2. Some of season 2 felt laboured to me.
