^^
Thank Jeebus, I've developed kind of a thing for her the last season or two since they changed her from Pam 2.0 (and got rid of her Jim 2.0 main squeeze) into a bit of a ditzy hussy. And the thought of her having a big Tupac tattoo horiffied my boner. Not down with inked girls, or the type of girl who wants to be with a rapper.
Great news Rashida, you've still got a chance to get with me. Savory Lodge room 17, this Friday. Bring your gameface.

So I just got into this show. Do I think it's the best on TV right now? No. However I do think Ron Swanson is the best character on TV.
A few thoughts after catching up on the series:
Leslie Knope: So annoying in the two seasons. I didn't like her character at all, now that they've developed her more and actually made her competent, I now like her. As a bumbling idiot I just wanted her to go away, far far away.
Ann Perkins: She's just kind of there for me, seems to mostly be a device to bring the story along. However, her relationship with Chris was a good storyline.
Tom Harverford: I like Tom, I understand why people dislike Aziz Ansari, he's like a small Dane Cook, only I do think Aziz is wittier. His character is an arrogant ######bag, and I think he nails it.
Ron Swanson: Does anything really have to be said? I only stuck through the first season (as short as it was) because I knew Ron would get more screen time. He did. He's the man. The episode where he teaches libertarian-ism to the 9 year old was pure gold. The two ex-wives named Tammy and how he turns into different people around them = amazing.
April Ludgate: I didn't like her at first, as she's developed I like her more. She almost started as a one liner, depressed emo kid, now she's an actual person.
Mark Brendanawicz: I liked Mark, but not in the show. That kind of seems like an odd statement, stand alone I thought he was fine, but I found he had no chemistry with anyone else.
Andy Dwyer: Like April, was just kind of there in the first number of episodes, but has developed well. He and April compliment each other well in the sense that they were bit characters (although opposite types) that matured into better roles, their chemistry is good, especially for opposites.
Ben Wyatt: I think that Adam Scott brings out the best in Amy Poehler. I like Ben's character, love the contrast of now uptight accountant from 18 year old mayor who bankrupted his city (the building a hockey rink is an added bonus). Great addition, really makes the show better than with Mark.
Chris Traeger: Basically the same character from Thank You For Smoking. When done in small doses he's effective. I like Rob Lowe but I think that his character needs to be involved about as much as Jerry or Donna.
Jerry: I like Jerry, to the point that I loathe how much he's picked on. I mean it's ok for the show but I feel for the character.
Donna: Another great secondary character that fills her role really well.
Just about all the other secondary character are very strong. Strong secondary characters really help a show advance (textbook example: The Simpsons).

Good points. The only one I'd disagree on is April, I can't stand her. Agreed her & Andy play off each other well though. Her character just bugs me, she's such a biznitch. I actually prefered her in the earlier seasons when she was dating (kinda) 2 different guys, I just got a kick out of how they were basically making fun of the current skinny jeans, hipster generation with her character. Now she just makes me angry.
And agreed about Chris. When I first heard Rob Lowe was joining the cast I was worried, I thought I'd hate his character. Then when I saw his first few episodes I was pleasantly surprised. But his character is pretty basic and gets very old after awhile, agreed he should only play a supporting role at best.
Love this cast over-all, the two listed above are the only 2 that I'm not big on. Also agreed Ben & Leslie play off each other very well.
To me it is the best comedy on TV and the type of humor is very refreshing. It's not vicious humor, it's not at somebody's expense and the characters are so easy to root for.
In Parks and Rec news, Louis CK is coming back this season!!!!!
the cold open was absolutely perfect. Ron Swanson wondering how the computer knew his name, only to have April tell him, then when he questions her on the privacy she got him to type his address into Google Earth. Cut to Ron throwing out his computer.
Also Ron on the stand was gold. Making noises so his address couldn't be audible and put on the record, then to stand and say he smelled Tammy #2, and ran out of the chambers
