This is a minor peeve of mine... but shouldn't your personal Mt. Rushmore be 3 of the best and 1 average?
For example, Mt. Rushmore of US Presidents would be: Washington, Lincoln, Jefferson as the greats and then say Teddy Roosevelt.
No disrespect to Teddy, but 3 greats and 1 average is the game.

If my Guitar Mount Rushmore was six, I might add Cockburn and Buckingham.

The reason they are up there.
Washington - father of the nation.
Jefferson - expanded the United States with the Louisiana Purchase and subsequent western expansion (manifest destiny).
Lincoln - freed the slaves (as ineffective as that was) established a new standard of all men being "equal."
Roosevelt - established conservationism through the national parks system and protectionist laws.
Ironically, Mt. Rushmore is actually on Sioux treaty land that was developed without their permission. So this landmark honorarium was established on land the government didn't own and turned into a national park (thanks Teddy) by an oppressive government (Coolidge, Hoover, & FDR). Supreme Court even said the Sioux have the right to do with it what they may. Thankfully they aren't dicks like the white man and can respect the intent behind the monument.
