I dare anyone to watch 5 minutes of this and not wish for failure for the next thousand years for this arrogant and entitled organization.
Every scene with the scouts in that episode looks like the first part of 'Moneyball' where the aged dinosaurs babble on about stuff that doesn't matter with complete arrogance. The whole episode is even more comical with the knowledge of what happened in the ten years since then.

Oh right - It was Chris Pronger demanding a trade that brought in Smid as part of a youth movement that saw Smid's entire NHL career end before the Oilers crack the top 25.
and Joffrey Lupal (former Tiger) who is one of many Oilers to be far more productive both BEFORE becoming an Oiler and AFTER leaving for a better team.

Does Barzal have a hot girlfriend?
No but Griffin Reinhart does.
I like it! Shows confidence!
Every oil fan I knew bought into the hype of that show 1000%. Literally heard terms like "it's just math" and "they are too good to fail" etc. It would have been sad if it wasn't hilarious.

Oh man, watched 5 minutes. Katz with the ######y sunglasses on inside the hotel at the beginning. Then when he says "It's nice to pick first, not that we would want to do this every year". What irony.
My favorite part of the episode Ashasx posted was at 8:01 "Good job boys, that's our work", "Now what are we going to do?" once they had selected Hall 1st OA.
So much comedy.

Someone will win the cup in Rogers Place this year and it won't be the Oilers.
I imagine many Oiler fans dreamed of seeing the Cup being presented at Rogers Place this year. Well, that dream will come true, but now it's a nightmare!
