Funny this came back up. I believe they were talking on the morning show today about how they delayed the release of these to include this seasons success and potential long playoff run. As previously mentioned on April 2
The jinx was on before they even played their first game of round 1

Don’t know if I’ve got this exactly right, but it went something like this: Badger Bob was giving the team a pep talk about using something like yoga or Tai Chi as part of their initial exercise/fitness workout, and told the players they should think of themselves as lions, “kings of the jungle”. So he asked the question “What does the king of the jungle do first thing in the morning”, probably thinking the boys would answer “stretching”, but Nilsson piped up from the back of the room “he licks his (slang for private parts)!”. Apparently Johnson was speechless and left the room.

In fairness to Kenta, if you can do that you are probably pretty good at yoga.

On a more serious note, that anecdote is probably an illustration of why Johnson wanted to get rid of him. Everything came easily to him, and I suspect that Nilsson wouldn't take a lot of things in life too seriously, including losing a hockey game.

To be sure, Nilsson was both uber-talented and uber-lassez faire (I remember him saying that when Grretzky did something great on the ice he sometimes wanted to join in the celebration and that's just wrong).
On the other hand , it was a funny line and maybe Bob took that one a little too seriously. I'm sure, considering the era, the rest of the team was thinking that yoga was a bit "out there". A few of the vets (Lanny and Peplinski to name two) didn't like Bob's style at all. I was a huge Badger fan myself.

My copy arrived today. If you're planning on it being a coffee table book you better have a
hefty coffee table. This thing is BEEFY.
Looking forward to flipping through it.

Very nice packaging, storage box, and the book is gorgeous. Very happy with the way it was done.

Just got mine and first page I flipped to showed a full page pic of Hanifin with a caption saying “Elias Lindholm”. The book looks well done though, excited to read through.

Still waiting. I haven't even gotten a confirmation email telling me my book has been shipped.
My order number is in the range of 6800 to 7000.

UPDATE: Finally got them!!! Love it except I got some issues:
- Noah Hanifin typo which was already mentioned
- Missing records from 2018-19 not in the record book
- Not a single photo of Flames in China
- Nieuwendyk's Calder trophy picture = wrong year
Other than that. No issues. Lots of good rare photos too.
