Thought that I'd jump into the conversation early on this one.

Dickinson (68) is a defensive specialist from Dallas. He's still only 25, so I think that he has a chance of rounding out to a 70 level player.

Vesalainen is the Jets best prospect. The have a pretty shallow prospect pool, true, but in Flames terms I would put him a tad below Pelletier in value.

Draft choices kind of speak for themselves.

Thank you from Tilley for the trade talks, and for avoiding cap moving, which is still something I'm wrapping my mind around.

Thanks also to Edmonton for the talks, whose final offer was close, but Dickenson was the deciding factor, there is just more there.

I'm not a fan of Vesalainen but this is still a good deal, as in my mind, it includes 3 reasonably quality assets.

I was looking for another top 6 forward and Saad for the bill with his position flexibility and reasonable cap hit for this year.

The guys I sent to LA were all pieces I acquired from other trades this off season, so it made sense from an asset perspective as well.
