Hurtig is 2 games into the playoffs with Rogle of the J20- no points, and -2. Series is tied at 1 apiece. First game went to OT, second game went to a SO.

Do we have an announcer that will practically jizz his pants when reminding us that he's from Högås Sweden every time he's in the vicinity of the puck? Gawd that was annoying when Loubardias was in the booth. That guy took way to much enjoyment out of saying Bonavista Newfoundland.
... But Adam Pardy does seem like a pretty good comp here.

I really like this - I wish the Flames had more opportunity to leverage owning the Hitmen for development. While in Calgary can he work with any of the Flames staff (skating coach) or would he have to be signed and even then is it a violation of the CHL agreement?
This adds an extra cool element if we somehow landed Yakemchuk! I am hopefully the flames find a way to move up with the Van pick and get Iginla + a Dman.

That's a great move for Hurtig. He is probably going to get a ton of playing time riding shotgun to Yakemchuk or Hamilton.
