3rd and 4th lines stepped up today and Mr Hedman dominated as usual. Easy win over the NYI.

Hunter Miska got the start and just wasn't good allowing 4 goals on 26 shots
Penalty killing was awful as Columbus was 3-3
Power play was awful at 0-3
Scored three goals in the first as this team seems to bunch score, and then simply blew it

Mrazek with another dud performance. Gets pulled in the second period yet again. 0-5-0 in the preseason so far. 4.71 GAA and 0.852 SV%

Hammond on the other hand is 3-0. He is shaping up to bring the starter by necessity.1.77 GA and 0.936 SV%

Flyers are just way too strong for the Hurricanes

Overal a good test for the roster, get some get some solid minuets in chasing the game because no doubt we'll be put into that situation.

Nice to see that the Canes continue to dominate in faceoffs and are No.1 faceoff team in the league with a 56.29%
