New file cabinet - my first crack at a 'nice' piece of cabinetry with drawers. Walnut ply case and solid Walnut drawer fronts. Many learnings with this one.

Beautiful.
I love those undermount drawer slides, so much better than side mount options.
So I finished my treehouse a month or so back. As a reminder, this was the first thing I have ever built of my own. I did the entire project alone with the exception of a few screws for the roof panels that I wasn't comfortable getting from the ladder.
It was a pretty stupid project to take on in the heat of the Oklahoma summer and for someone that is terrified of heights. It pushed me beyond my limits and allowed me to grow though. First pic is from when I started putting the roof on and the second is completely done. (only 2 of the kids are mine)

I'm calling this one done, and it's been a slog. Something very unseasonal for your viewing pleasure: The Gates of HELL!!!
The boat is from an anime called One Piece. While building it I figured it needed something special to display it on, and that something became what I saw as a Slayer cover come to life. I think it works. Lots of styrofoam, foil, celluclay and LEDs went into this.

No major projects, but I did have some time to refinish a couple pieces. The first is just an Ikea side table that a friend had given us, but I wanted it to match my other stuff so gave it a sanding, stain and varnish.
The cabinet was probably the first real piece of furniture I built, to hold my wife's fish tank. It's at least 15 years old now. Stability was more important than design. I also only really owned a circular saw and drill at the time, so the finish was rough, edges not really sanded, and I didn't know how to varnish properly. So I gave most of it a gentle sand, and the top and rough edges down to bare wood, then refinished to match. Also built a few shelves for the inside since it isn't hiding CO2 tanks anymore. I'm sure it will get packed full of "stuff" soon enough.
I also built a sunglasses organizer, will post a pic when the paint dries and I get it installed. Oh, and the top coat on a coffee table inherited from my grandma. It was just starting to look a little rough, so giving it protection for a few more years.

Sunglasses holder dry enough to install. I thought this would be a quick project, but getting the dividers all spaced properly and cleaned up was a PITA. I'm sure there are better ways, but my manky cheap table saw made it tougher than it should have been. Must upgrade!

Yes it is doable. What type of project is your hypothetical? A cabinet or a chair?
Was thinking about a bench seat for kitchen nook and maybe one for a bay window. I assume some plywood would be needed, so not sure how to cut something like that or so nice mitre cuts on trim.
