I asked this in another thread but it probably belongs here:
I've never done the hike out the Boundary Bowl (#141) at Lake Louise, is it marked and obvious, or do you need a guide? How long is it - and do you need a pack, or can you sling the skis over your shoulders and walk up? I've done T2 at Kicking Horse, but hated the hike (Ozone was easier).

Remove this if it's not appropriate also.

What is included in the tune? Is it full including base grind and p Tex or just a wax and sharpen?

Top sheets we usually do by quote depending on the severity. Usually it's about $20.

Skis on shoulder is fine...it's probably only 5 mins walk to the main chute, and then just a bit further beyond that.
The funnest and most satisfying way is to explore and figure it out yourself...there's nothing too hairy there (that isn't obvious). Do a regular brownshirt lap over to North Cornice and scope it out from below. Do the hike and drop into the main chute. Hike it again and explore the boundary line.

Hiking it in 5 minutes would be a hell of a workout, it's not quite that quick. But it's not a long way up either.
I definitely did boundary first before doing brownshirt. It's pretty easy and mellow.
Granted, there are some sharks on the right at the bottom if you're not careful. I once saw a boarder hit one at speed and do a pretty solid frontflip.

You're probably right. I'm thinking ~5 to the fence line (if you're in good shape), but I've skied LL so rarely lately that I haven't bothered with the hike in a while.
I do find that hiking with skis on your shoulder feels like it takes longer than it actually does.

Yep, capped their visits too.
Got there early, buzzed a half dozen shin deep burners off Zoomer.
Made it back to Canmore to walk the dogs before lunch.

Beautiful day of x-country yesterday at Bragg Creek. Glad we got there early as the parking lot was completely packed by the time we left around 1pm.

Snow guns running at Fernie base at the moment. Crazy to think just a few weeks back I was still biking here.
There's about 20cms on the mountain at the base, so there's still a looooooong way to go before you can groom anything, let alone ski something.

As long as the heat that is coming doesn't make it to the mountains should be a great start to the year.

Anyone need a helmet? I have brand new a K2 Rival, flat black, L/XL size if someone wants to take it off my hands. $75, cost was $130 new. If no one wants it I'll just give it to my brother.
This, but the previous year's version.
