Plus the Raptors also have McCaw on the roster and he may be back from injury in the next month or so, and Nurse really likes McCaw... he averaged 24 minutes last year, despite average less than 5 points. He's smart and disciplined and long, all things that Nurse wants in his bench players, even if he's offensively limited. Once he comes back, there's going to be even more competition for that backup guard spot... something's got to give.

So often early games end up being ugly blowouts, but that was a really entertaining and well-played game.

Boucher blocking 3 point shots is pretty much the greatest thing ever.

Kind of an expected loss after a big win yesterday, they battled to get the lead but then the Pacers just took over. Lowry obviously very frustrated. I’m still optimistic about this teams chances.

Siakam in, OG out for tonight. Just can't stay healthy. (But can't complain given the Covid-related stuff other teams are going through.)

He's missed, what, one game this season?
He's been playing a lot of minutes and hard minutes. A night off seems warranted?

To be clear I was meaning that the team can't stay healthy, not OG in particular, as we've had 3 different starters sitting out in the last 3 games.

Never gets old watching Lowry put the entire team on his back. Damn that man is a warrior for this team. Not sure it will be enough tonight.

Really impressed with Stanley, Watanabe, and Bembry here. Great energy and defense and they're hitting their shots.
Defense has been porous all game but they've done a great job in the 4th.

Jeez what was that technical for?
Good effort in the 4th but wasn't enough.

That was bizarre. Leading up to it, I was just thinking about the bizarre overturned Terrence Ross 3 against Sacramento a few years ago. Always seems like our close games against Sacramento have some weird reffing.
But really, this was lost on the lack of defensive stops in the first 3 quarters.

So this is now a flagrant in today's NBA?
https://twitter.com/user/status/1356633582190669824
That's crazy soft. People using their butts like that happens literally a dozen times a game, and the beef between Gordon and Lowry, plus Gordon's unrelated injury later in the game, are the only reasons this play got any attention at all.
Wouldn't shock me if Lowry goes off for 30 tonight in response.

^Hahahahaha!!!! That's called "boxing out". I learned the butt move playing community basketball at age 12. Isn't that the most standard move ever?
WTF planet am I living on?

How dare. They can't take Lowry's butt away from his arsenal. It's maybe his best physical basketball tool.

if that's a Flagrant 1 than Gordon should get 3-5 YEARS in a federal prison for his shoulder check.
