If the Flames win on Monday their season point total will match my body's temperature over the last two days. I tried curing it with cowbell, and then with even more cowbell, but nothing works. Today my temperature is down to the current point total of 101, so I'm able to post.
Last night's win moves the red snake to 13.195 points above the black line, 21 points above the purple snake, and 14 points above the orange snake. More importantly, it punched through the upper barrier of the traditional snake and the graph needed to be extended. You may be thinking that we've seen the graphs get extended multiple times throughout the season, but those are usually for the oilers snake going through the bottom barrier. The red snake is currently on pace for 110 points, 13 points better than the orange snake.

Just as important: every losing streak has been immediately erased by a winning streak (or close to).

Every team in the Western Conference that achieved 96 points made the playoffs.
The red snake finished the year with 107 points, 11 points above the black line, 10 points above the orange snake, and 23 points above the purple snake.

By winning last night's game the blue snake impressively managed to acquire the second most points of an oilers snake in the last 11 seasons. It finished 17 points below the black line but 1 point above the orange snake.
