I trust that this team will figure it out. They're too good and Sutter is too good of a coach for them to not figure out a good strategy to beat this team.

Smith ready for a stinker next game. Kylington goal was embarassingly bad positioning.
Maybe easier said then done, but Flames eliminate the bad decisions and positioning leading to and finishing off of man rushes, and Oilers would have had zero goals today.
Philly - thanks for creating this thread. I actually had a paragraph of "not positive" remarks on the PGT and I decided to put it to the side to refresh the forum and see this thread come into existence.
I'm just happy that we are in the playoffs and and I'm happy that I'm not a die hard Cleveland Browns fan.
Side thought - I'm just curious as to what Michael Ferland is thinking about all of this at the moment.

Bro it's a 2-1 series and the flame are a better team. The oilers are still a dumpster fire held up by one guy. It's not even close. The flames are still the favorites in this series.
No positivity thread required. We got this. The oilers are dog #### and they suck.

Lucic held up. That's not even a charge.Refs are absolute trash and so is head office in Toronto. That's a legal hit on a goalie out of his crease.
Yes, I realize the league doesn't want goalies hit. Having said that, message sent by Lucic.
I'm not worried yet. Sutter now has his players' attention. Sent a message to all his players (least of which Markstrom) by starting Vladar in P3. Good call. Gets Vladar some minutes (which he earned with his play this season) and reminds the rest of the players that hockey is a team game and every player (including the black aces) are parts of the team.
Sutter will be reminding the Flames that the playoffs are a marathon, not a sprint.
Let the Sportsnet crew salivate over McAvi and Smith. Let them fawn over Evander Kane.
Honestly, I'm not worried. Yet. Flames have yet to play their game for 60 minutes.
Go. Flames. Go.
Together.

Personally I went into these playoffs with the obvious mindset that the Flames were a great hockey team but not the Stanley cup favourites. I for sure felt they could be contenders though. I said to myself that this is a team that if they do go on a good run will probably go to 7 games in all 4 rounds dog fighting all the way to the finals.
So far everytime they've lost in the playoffs I don't get upset because I know if the team is going to go all the way the will have the fight to respond and so far they've shown that can. They went down 2-1 in the first series and responded with hard fought game after hard fought game to win the series.
I understand a lot of people get emotional game but game and lose by lose but my positivity is if you sit back and watch them fight they might just have it in them to fight out another series victory.

And to be quite honest, after being in a global pandemic. Having the Flames play meaningful hockey and being able to celebrate it with Flames fans has been an absolute blessing.
Win or Loose - its been a nice mental break from the last two years.
