Hmm, does someone struggling with mental health excuse them of being a total #######? We should excuse ####ty behaviour, because he or she may be experiencing depression, anxiety, ect?

Everyone has rough days, I completely understand. And I completely empathize with those who experience debilitating mental health problems. But I don’t know, personally, if you’re acting like an #######, you’re just acting like an #######. No excuses.

Peterson suffers from the Kruger Dunning effect, a person that thinks they know everything because they know alot about something

No its the reverse of that, Dunning Kruger applies to people who are too stupid to realise they are idiots, Peterson is the opposite, he's too smart to realise he's a moron, he assumes his IQ means he's right about everything

Peterson is also stuck in his echo chamber. Pretty easy to think you're right about everything when you have hundreds of thousands of people telling you you're right.

True, I have always found it is easier to get my less bright foster kids to accept they need to change, the smart ones always think their brains means they can find away around their issues, that they can find a way to use drugs without any downsides, very high intelligence can be just as great a handicap as very low at times, the sweet spot it being very bright but not too bright

Very true. Echo chambers are easy to get stuck in unless people actively seek out other perspectives.

Part of Peterson's argument is that people with opposing views are wrong, at they've been subverted by various mechanisms of the modern state. I can't see him sitting down and genuinely making an attempt to understand what it's like for someone who is, for example, transgender.

I felt sympathy for Peterson when he came out with his benzodiazepine addictions problems. That can be one of the hardest addictions to kick, not to mention one of the more deadly ones. The drug also effects how people behave and can really mess with your mind. I was hoping that after he got help with his addiction, that he might change some of his previous mindsets, but it looks like he is more extreme than ever.

Someone else brought this up online, but for a guy who preaches personal accountability, etc., he sure seems to love playing the victim.

It's pretty much all he does now a days. "Attack vulnerable group/women" "Back away and claim being attacked".

Peterson has fallen off a cliff, and to make things worse, he's joined the daily wire and is obviously saying bat#### things to create controversy and sell more subscriptions. There's absolutely no disputing the fact that all this is perfectly timed for him joining the daily wire. The whole point of the daily wire and Ben Shapiro is to create a schism and then profit off of it. They're convincing people the mainstream media is evil so they can fill in the void and sell their "news".

Ben Shapiro has literally called for the bifurcation of the states, it's completely self-serving.

Based on my social media feeds, people who want to see daily updates about the liberal media silencing people are a minority but a very devoted one. I'm not really sure they need to create a schism, they just need to profit off what's already there.

He has an awfully prepubescent voice for someone who drones on endlessly about manhood and machoism. My sister has a deeper tone profile.

He sounds like a Canadian version of an angry Andrew Glouberman. Or a university professor character from Letterkenny.

A car with an "Info Wars" decal in the rear window almost crashed in to me today - she did not shoulder check!

It was probably the blinders she has on.
