Yeah this is a good sign for me as well as I have the Google TV with remote. Now TSN has to get their garbage together too!

Buy VPN, connect to US or out of Canada server, and Mario will work just fine.

Out of curiosity do folks know if any of the non-Canadian broadcasts are 4k?

I hate the quality of SN/CBC broadcasts but curious if it's higher for Flames games against US teams on the away broadcasts?

This is terrible news. SN Now is simply mediocre on anything other than a PC.

I subscribed to SN Now Premium this year and it gave me free access to NHL Live. I ended up using NHL Live for everything except blacked out games for the entire hockey season because the NHL Live app was simply better in every aspect.

I assume it's too late to change things, but I'll be emailing NHL Live and Sportsnet to ask them to allow both to exist in Canada.

I think I heard NESN was going 4k. But I think the rest of the RSNs in the US are 720p/60fps. 720p with good bandwidth and 60fps usually looks pretty good for hockey though.

I sent an email to Sportsnet Now (asking for a delay to ending NHL Live in Canada until SN Now has feature parity) and for a wonder they actually responded for once.

Quote:
Disney Streaming Services is ending NHL Live (which Rogers Sportsnet owns the rights to in Canada). DSS in the USA will now operate under ESPN+ and their NHL Live app is being shutdown globally.

I will pass along your SNNOW technical feedback to the Product team for review.
