Default Adding Post ID to the Table Row Code

This is could be a big request so tell me to shut up if it is.

I'm developing a Chrome browser extension to allow me/anyone to hide threads they don't want to see. To do this, the table row would need the ID of the thread in it.

Not sure if this is possible with vBulletin, or if any changes you made would be removed when you update the forum software version.

There used to be a Firefox add on that would allow you to disappear posters from existence. It was amazing. So this would be super cool to have, albeit slightly different.

So are you looking for the thread ID or the post ID? The thread ID would already be in the row in the URL, can you use that? Or do you need it to be in the tr tag?

Sorry for the late reply. I should have subscribed to this post.

Yes, I would prefer it to be in the opening tr so the entire row of the post could be hidden easily. A simple "display: none" would hide the row without breaking the functionality of the rows around or make it look weird.

Currently, it could be done with the titles of the posts but that doesn't remove the whole row and makes a bit of a mess.

I think it will help people focus on the threads they're interested in. They'll still see new ones but if there's one that's constantly being bumped, that they're not interested in ever seeing, they can hide it.

It also might help people to ignore threads they feel compelled to read, get angry and post in, thus improving their mental health (read: political threads).

Ok I'll try and look at this and the other CSS stuff on the weekend.
