Guy looks like some Oiler fan. He had us trading for Matt Duchene yesterday and today it's Iggy.
He's clearly trolling.

Do you think Matt stajan could be one of the three centres the penguins are eyeing for their third line?

Possibly, I think Calgary would have to retain some salary though. Wouldn't get much back maybe a late round pick and a minor league depth guy.

Then I don't think you trade him. He's a serviceable NHL center. You need that kind of depth come playoffs.

The Pens apparently have interest in 3 centre's. 2 that have been rumored are Sheehan and Spooner. Stajan doesn't really fit the same mold as those 2 who are younger and cheaper than Stajan

Looking at his posting history, I honestly believe that his Foo and Hamonic tweets were attempts to troll Flames fans that backfired when they actually came true, so then he started acting like he was a real insider.

Help, save, whatever.

Bozak would be a good fit. Reignite the Kessel/Bozak bromance.
Leafs don't really have anyone else to play 3C though so probably not a good idea for them.

TSN Insider trading:
Duchene
many teams are interested. up to 8 teams were talking to the Avs in recent days
Senators have been among more aggressive but they don't think they are getting him
Dreger specifically mentions - Senators, Habs, Flames, Kings, Canucks, Preds, BJs and implies they are part of the 8
Jagr
does not plan to retire
in discussion with 2-3 NHL teams
hopes to get something done by the end of camp but if it doesn't KHL a real possibility
Eichel
Sabres hoping to get extension done before season starts, but that might be optomistic
Eichel willing to wait until next off season to deal with it
RFAs
Athanisou and Anderson still unsigned RFAs and no progress on either front right now
Det offered 2 yrs $1.9 mil AAV deal to Athanisou
BJ offered to Anderson to take 1 year qualifying offer or 3 year deal at less that $1.9 million
Golden Knights
plan is to trade 1 surpluss d-man by the end of the camp or early in the season

I heard Ottawa (amongst others) is serious about Duchene.
Quote:
Sources say Senators general manager Pierre Dorion has been aggressive in his pursuit of the 26-year-old Duchene, who begrudgingly reported to training camp last week while he continues to wait for a trade.

I'm thinking the Flames are one of the 2-3 teams talking to Jagr.

After last night, I’m guessing the Flames are two of the teams; both of the split squads.

Really? The players that stood out are the same players Jagr would have to bump. If anything, the performance of the rookies seemed to push Jagr firther from the realm of signing. Unless you're replacing the underperforming veterans with Jagr, and its way too early to do that, it doesn't make much sense to go down that road.
