Where is the Calgary is no good thread? Seriously, the Flames haven't made the playoffs since the 2008-2009 season. It's not like your team is making the playoffs every year. You shouldn't rag on other fanbases for sucking when your own team actually sucks quite a bit as well.

Come on man look at the Eastern Conference. It's a mishmash of mostly bad teams, a small handful of good not great teams, and the Bruins. The Leafs would be somewhere between the Flames and Oilers if they played in the Western Conference.

This is true. But nothing the Leafs can do about that.

I'm surprised how butthurt people got about what I said. What did I say that was so upsetting. Flames suck? Well, sorry folks, but they do.

So who wants to make some kind of wager? The Leafs play the Flames twice. After those two games whichever team has the best goal differential wins.

Nobody here has proclaimed the Flames will be a good hockey team this season. We are realistic for the most part.
