Default Printer gremlins

Have a brother 3140 color laser that we used wirelessly with a Mac Chromebook and iOS devices. No worries.

We moved it, though it didn't fall or anything, and now the prints are randomly faded, blank, or sometimes a page of each. And sometimes it works just fine. The program doesn't seem to matter - word or Google docs or PDFs or images are all inconsistent.

I tried firmware updates and printer calibration. Still the same.

Anyone seen this before? Hadley downloaded a virus?

Pretty sure the government has secretly installed programs into all printers to make them do random and frustrating things, just so that the rage cases (potential murderers and terrorists) will inadvertently out themselves by destroying printers with shotguns and bombs.

Take the toner cartridges out and give them a shake. Make sure they don't have an open hole before doing this, but I think it should be fine on those.

Yeah give the toner cartridges a shake, if you have some isopropyl alcohol you can also clean the printer heads if you see some dried residue in them.

Quote:
If it is still clogged, you can try to clean the printer head manually. To clean the printer head, remove the ink cartridge from the printer. Moisten a cotton swab by dipping it in hot water or isopropyl alcohol, and then gently wipe the printer head. Do this repeatedly until it softens the dried ink.
Or Clean the Corona wire.

It's a laserjet, it won't have print heads.
