Brett Olson might get an NHL contract if he keeps this up.

A playoff run is probably the last hope for the Heat to bring in fans.

Also who is this Olson guy who seems to be racking up the points of late. Second year on the Heat but I know nothing about him (older guy it seems)

The two games against the Texas Stars this weekend should be interesting. Heat are on a hot streak and the Stars are on the slide.

Hopefully a little redemption for the pair of Texas Chainsaw Massacres we have suffered against them.

I am looking forward to the games on the road against Charlotte as they will be in the Carolina Hurricanes rink.

Lol. When it comes to goal scoring reaction...

Freeway = Max Reinhardt
Drury = Yakupov.

Business as Usual vs. OMG BEST THING EVER!

Appreciate the updates, guys. The new game threads are a keeper!

I hope somehow being compared to an Oiler is a good thing

Just my boy Alex Joehl (Canadian Press) mentioned a conversation he had with me about this current Heat roster being perhaps the most talented team that's ever been iced in franchise history.

Just saying you announce Heat goals as though you were doing a knee-slide across a hockey rink flooded with bacon.

Not meant as a criticism.

This will be a fun team to watch over the Olympic break.

Hope sportsnet picks up a few games, as I don't believe they'll be at the Olympics.

If you have Sportsnet 360, they are broadcasting some games: http://theahl.com/tv-schedule-s11623

Jeez, the Checkers are not playing great on the first half of back to back games.

They are currently playing the OKC Barons. Barons up 7-3 midway through the 3rd. Former Heat player Roman Horak with a hat-trick (gorgeous goals!)
