To be honest, I enjoyed the novelty of the egg pizza as well. We can't give everyone a seat at the table though. Next we'll have the bloody Belgians asking for their Stroopwafl with Nutella to be considered as a pizza.

Notable had a duck sausage breakfast pizza that was delicious. Though at some point it isn’t a pizza and is just a flat bread.
I think a tomato based sauce, a crust, and cheese are the minimum requirements. Lose those things and it’s not a pizza.

One of our go to pizzas is Pepperoni, Bacon, Pineapple and fresh feta
it's been a staple for the Kelowna flames games for years!

I tried it as a lark ("Potato? Whoever heard of THAT on a pizza?") but thinking about it afterwards, it makes a lot of sense. It's not quite a baked potato on a pizza. Rome opened my eyes to a lot of things that could go on a pizza. My wife and I made it a point to eat/try things that we 'usually' wouldn't while travelling there. We found a lot of things we brought back that we do now. She even makes a decent potato pizza.

As excited as I am to see the results, it's definitely some interesting picks of different things related to pizza. It'd be like if we did a vehicle poll and had Chevrolet, SUV's, white ones and Accords.

Oh Jesus. My Nonna’s potato pizza was to die for. It was little cubed potatoes, like hashbrowns, bacon, diced onions. No sauce. Just some olive oil. I have the recipe somewhere.
The trick is to cook the potatoes first so they’re not mushy on the pizza.

Not a huge fan of pineapple on pizza, but on some occasions, a Hawaiian pizza is perfectly edible.
BBQ chicken pizza, however, can f*** right off. It's probably the worst invention known to mankind.

I went to an Irish pub that had wood-fired oven pizza they called an Irish pizza. It was one of the best I ever had. It was basically Irish stew in a pizza format. Writing that out doesn't sound great, but it was surprisingly really good.
The place I mentioned before that had a Big Mac pizza also had a poutine pizza which was really good (and good for you!).

This sounds like a breakfast pizza. All it's missing is scrambled eggs, salsa and sour cream!

The absolute worst pizza I ever had was a curry chicken pizza. Not because curry is bad, but the place that made it had no idea what how to make pizza. It actually had bones and cartilage ground up with the meat.
Now that I think about it, that restaurant had to be a front for something else.

IKEA's downstairs restaurant makes a surprisingly decent Margherita pizza.

There are all sorts of things that can do well on pizza. When I visit my buddy in the SE of Calgary, there's a place we go to (and I can't remember the name of, right now) that does a 'Chicken Caesar Salad' pizza. You get the chicken and bacon cooked on the pizza, then when it's done cooking, they add shredded lettuce, Caesar dressing and parmesan cheese. It's also quite good.
And I used to be a 'pepperoni only' sort of pizza guy.

Wow! BBQ Chicken is actually my favorite. I'm voting that pizza till the end.
Pro Tip: if ever in the SW USA, go to California Pizza Kitchen and get the BBQ chicken. Simply amazing pizza.

The ingredients may be soup kitchen quality but the BPs Perogy pizza proves that the sum can be greater than the parts. It has cardboard crust! And god help you if you try multigrain crust.
And yet if I could only eat one more (Non homemade) pizza before I die, it’d be Perogy for sure.

Ha, this is exactly my NY-born wife's guilty pleasure when it comes to pizza. Surrounded by all the great NYC pizza options, every once in a while we'd have to skulk into a CPK so she could get her BBQ chicken fix with all the other tourists. Never really thought the pizza was anything to write home about, but hey, who am I to judge.

As a life-long devotee of the Hawaiian Pizza (in all its forms), I, like all who have similar Pizza tastes, have spent my life facing persecution and derision. We must band together now to protect our interests, and support our way of life in this poll, that it may take us one step closer to a homeland for our brothers and sisters, where we can eat pizza with pineapple on it in peace, free from fear, free from hatred from those with narrow minds and narrow palates. Let us unite.

If I had to guess what is going to win, it's going to be Hawaiian(of some sort). The people who hate it really hate it, and are quite vocal, but those who like it will see it voted through. That's my bet. Maybe we need a poll on what we think will win. A poll of polls.
