There's quite a few on Kijiji, and they're already down to the $500 level, if you are willing to pay a bit of a premium one of them probably would sell to you. Put an ad up saying you'll pay $450 which is only $30 more than retail and you might get a bite.

Just curious why Amazon.ca won't display the Switch Stock under Prime as a back order. Instead you're directed to scalping sellers.

That happens when their Amazon warehouse is out of stock. They still want to make the sale so they aren't going to list it as backordered or OOS.
Same thing happened with Yakuza 0 in Feb. Amazon ran out and the page changed to 3rd party resellers. I had a Prime pre-order and they ran out of stock so they had to get a 3rd party to send it to me at Prime price 1.5 weeks late after the title came out.

I dunno man. I'm still not seeing what everyone is hyped up about, and I've got probably 6-7 hours on it now. It's good, sure, but this would've been worthy of this level of critical acclaim if it came out 7 or 8 years ago. In a post Skyrim/Witcher/Horizon world, I'm not finding it all that impressive or even very much fun.
For what it's worth too, my wife hates watching it. She's enjoying Horizon though.

Not sure I can justify it that bad. The normal retail price is bad enough for me haha. I might just have to wait until they are more readily available.

Do you want a list?
1) They deliver past 5 PM to my office - My office is closed at 5. All other delivery services do not attempt commercial deliveries past 5 PM for obvious reasons
2) They deliver on weekends to my office - My office is closed (other than people coming in to do extra work) on weekends. See above.
3) They have bizarre arbitrary rules for deliveries that change by driver - I've even had the front desk complain to me that one driver forced her to hold the package out with one hand and have the driver take a photo of it as proof of delivery
4) The non-uniformed drivers creep on the front desk staff - seriously wtf
5) They deliver late (less of an issue lately) - Tuesday is not Monday, etc.

Yeah they tried to deliver to my office on Saturday also and somehow managed their way into our office before it opened this morning to deliver it.

Canada Post says my Switch has been delivered to my community mailbox. Vertigo symptoms are preventing me from getting it, will have to ask my kid to retrieve it after school.
Still waiting for my special edition Zelda from Amazon though, so I guess I'll spend the next few days navigating the menus?

So for those that have the thing and played it over the weekend...what do you think?
Just got mine at work now and still 50/50 on if I should open it or not.

The WiiU version reviews I've been reading mention a lot of framerate issues, which makes me lean towards keeping the Switch to play the switch version. But if one can tolerate not playing Zelda right away then it might make sense to wait for the inevitable New Nintendo Switch with slightly faster guts to smooth out the game more.
Or those hoping the Switch becomes the new PSP/Vita wait to see if that pans out.
My Switch is MIA (says delivered to the community mailbox, but it's not there), so while Canada Post does their thing to find out where it is I have more time to reconsider too.
On one hand I should probably get some version of PS4 to play all the great games on that platform that I haven't played (not to mention games I never played on the PS3 that now have remastered versions).
On the other hand, cell shaded Zelda.

If you have a WiiU and can play Zelda on that, it's probably a wait. I figured I'd get one anyway, and Nintendo doesn't always drop prices much, so I was going to be paying full price anyway. There is nothing super unique to play on it right now.

Why did Nintendo decide to put the bittering agent on the game cards anyways? Fair enough they don't want children chewing on these and choking on them, but wouldn't a warning/disclaimer suffice from a legal perspective? If parents have a concern about their children or pets putting things in their mouth, let them decide whether or not to apply a bitter chemical.

Nick Wingfield of the New York Times is tweeting out that, according to the president of NOA, the Switch's Friday-Saturday sales were greater than any other Nintendo console's first two days in North America. BOTW is also the best selling non packed-in launch title in NOA's history as well.
