I didn’t like Novak for a long time but in the last couple of years he has started to win me over. After the anti-vaxxer crap and now this I’m done with him! Nope nope nope.
I've done a 180 on Andy, he certainly wasn't my favourite player due to some of his antics (whining, complaining, grousing etc.) during matches, but he's toned that down as he's gotten older and off the court, he seems like a really fine person.

Papa Djokovic blaming Grigor is not a good look for him or his son...
he's on a good streak this past week, needed to top his comment about how Roger needs to go do something else other than tennis so that his son can pass him already.
...and that not long after Mama Djoker said that her son is God's Chosen One. um, I may have to brush up on my bible reading but I was fairly certain that job was already taken? what is it with that family?

for me, the closer my player was to winning, but not actually winning, the worse it was. at least Rafa didn't have multiple match points on serve in those finals (or the 2017 AO final). I know you list that latter one as your most painful tennis memory, but that Wimby final last year nearly broke my sports fandom permanently, like not even just tennis but across all sports. I still don't feel fully recovered.
