So maybe its ultra authentic!
Not what I'm talking about. Those jerseys have always had black numbers but the first iteration of the namebar was black letters with a white outline. That lasted twelve(?) games until they were switched to white letters with a black outline.

The two replica jerseys shown above were done incorrectly because they used the font used for the back numbers on the sleeves as well. The sleeve fonts are a lighter weight which allows for a thicker white outline on the reds and a thicker gold outline on the whites. The Martin Gelinas jersey above has the correct sleeve numbers.

Throw in Black, and they're beauties.

The horsehead made me a Flames fan in 2000.

I own one of these crested with Iggy, still new with tags. They are beaut, but I have never actually worn one.

I agree with people who are saying the retros (not the actual original retro jersey but the new version of them). Not only fantastic and iconic but also quite different from anything worn by anyone else.

Okay man, I'm not a qualified jersey historian or the curator of the 'Calgary Flames jersey Museum and Skee-ball Hall of Fame' or anything.

2004 Home Jersey = Best Ever. Authentic makes it bestest-er.

Retro home, retro away, 04 third.

Why is this so hard Ken King?

It could be worse, it could be so cheap it has the late 90's font

I agree. We have the most boring average jerseys right now. If we went with that jersey lineup you listed, we’d probably have the best in the league

Am I the only who would enjoy this set up?
Retros for home and away
With '04 as alternate

Best Flames Jerseys jmo any Iggy 12, Fluery 14, Lanny 9, Niewy 25, Macinnis 2, Robert's 10, Gelinas 23, Kipper 34. Vernon 30.
Gio 5, Monahan 23 and Gaudreau 13 are well on their way to that status.

I’d love to see them wear the Heritage Classics every once in a while. Once a year, or every other year or something.

Other than that, retro home, retro away. ‘04 homes as third.

Such a shame that we had the nice 04s for three years, and then the current monstrosities for 4 times that and counting.

'04 colors with the snot horse shoulder patches, with retro piping. Done. As existing jerseys go, '04s and the black snot horse are my faves. Retro's are great but I like the black C.

Orange? You do realize that the retro jerseys use exactly the same shade of Red as the regular jerseys we have been wearing since 03/04?

I wonder if Iggy's retirement presser is when they'll unveil the new jersey.

One last jersey created with #12.
