Lebron's school actually also requires that the kids are there from 8 or 9AM to 6 or 7PM. The reason he did this was to keep the kids off the streets during the normal after school hours, when a lot of the bad temptations are around before parents arrive home from their jobs.
It's a fantastic thing that he's doing for his community.

Do news anchors behave like this in any other free country?
Good for LeBron. Maybe more will follow suit.
I'd say the media in Russia, China, Japan (when it comes to the topic of Japan's role in WW2), along with some other countries are similar to Fox in the sense they're mouthpieces for the state.

For those who may not know what you're referring to...
Wow is that ever infuriating. What kind of “news” source decides who should or shouldn’t be allowed their right to free speech and resorts to personal attacks on anyone who disagrees with their way of thinking? It’s scary to think how many people watch that and just eat up everything they say.
He sounds like a guy who dropped out of school to pursue a pro sports career and someone who’s had everything handed to him all his life. I have respect for the athlete and the humanitarian but now he says he may run for president. God help us if it’s Trump followed up by Lebron. The country needs politicians who actually have a clue. (Cue the derogatory comments about politicians.) They treat the job like it’s a joke. It’s probably the hardest job in the world. I seriously doubt that James has the right stuff. I wish he’d play ‘ball and be a great person and not try to run a country.

Everything you said is absolutely false. You should read up on his life story before claiming that BS.
He's done so much more than this school.
Your comment isn't too far off the "shutup and dribble" line.

Always cheer against him in the NBA, but he seems like a great man.
What a great thing he's doing - I was especially blown away by the free tuition to Akron University - talk about doing your best to give kids a chance, especially in the US.
Bravo LeBron - now go lose some games for the Lakers

I'm especially interested in why you feel like he's had everything handed to him. Can you elaborate?
