Interestingly, on Flames Talk, Pat mentioned that Morin came to training camp not as well conditioned as they had hoped he'd be after summer but they've been happy with the progress he's made throughout the year.

Maybe this is another story, like Rasmus, where better conditioning can take his game to the next level. Watching him in the development camps, I think he has the Hockey IQ to make an impact at the NHL level.

Junior players are usually billeted, so I guess general nutrition habits can vary by host family. Plus, a lot of time is spent on the road where fast food may be the norm (unless things have changed).

I remember when Andersson was Fatmas Sandwichsson.
Being in bad shape can be fixed.

Basha was named first star, with 1g and a +1 in a 4-1 win over the Chiefs.

The Tigers are back in action for Game 2 against the Spokane Chiefs on Sunday, May 11, at 7:00 p.m. MST.

TSN will carry the game for Canadian viewers, while fans in the United States and around the world can stream the series on Victory+.

Apparently, Victory+ is a free streaming service

Watched the game, first time I saw him play…he was fantastic! Really stood out as an intelligent and dynamic player. Could easily see him as a second pairing D.

Basha got an assist on Lindstroms goal 55 seconds in last night as the Tigers lost 6-2 to the Chiefs. He likes getting the scoresheet early apparently.

In future Flame news, McKenna’s point streak ended at 54 games.
