Couldnt have said it better.

I really enjoyed it at the beginning and then....yeah.

You can effectively pinpoint exactly when Mr. King's Cocaine starts kicking in.

Finished Raised by Wolves. I liked it, but it was a bit rough in the last episode. Some things were a bit silly, even by the premise of the show.

There's some special stuff out there for anybody who gets taken in by British comedy panel shows. So much on youtube, and so many 'best of' compilations to get through it all .

My 3 favorites:

Just so much great stuff. If you haven't seen Taskmaster, you can start on Season 1 on youtube as well and I'm excited for you.

Probably a good chance to see how good Duolingo actually is, if I watch it in German.

Season 3 is pretty good. Certainly a return to form, although it doesn't quite capture the same magic of the first season.

It's too bad Colin Farrell's and Rachel McAdams' performances are lost in the madness and incoherence of the second season.

I enjoyed season 1, thought the ending at the hospital was a bit weak.

I'm gonna try season 2, but with so much to watch if it isn't good will cut bait.

The relationship and subtle interchange between Woody and Matthew really made Season 1

I started Jack Ryan. Enjoying it so far, but man is John Krasinski ever reminding me of Michael Keaton, to the point where it's getting distracting.

I've been pretty impressed with the content on AppleTV. Yes, the interface sucks, there's not a lot of selection, marketing was horrible, etc... all true.

But the content they do have on there is pretty solid, especially when you compare it to the 'green light EVERYTHING' approach of Netflix. AppleTV shows tend to be short (8-10 episode series... fairly self-contained season).

Ted Lasso: There's another thread that covers this, but it's my favorite show at the moment.

Little America: Eight self-contained episodes inspired by true stories of American immigrants. They manage to do this without painting everyone as racists. If you grew up with immigrant parents (as I did), some of the stories in this show mirror their experiences. At least, it did for me.

Mythic Quest: Not great, but funny enough about a group of morons who run a WoW-like company.

Amazing Stories: Like an updated The Outer Limits (or, if you remember a reboot of the 80's show). EP is Spielberg.

Trying: British show about a couple trying to have a kid. Again, not great but entertaining enough.

Best of all? None of the above shows end its seasons on hard and cheap cliffhangers. I'm a fan of AppleTV now... there's like, nine of us.

I still didn't mind season 2. Season 1 was so good that there was always nowhere to go but down especially with a different cast and story. I still found season 2 entertaining enough and as you said thought there were some solid performances.

I think I'm just within the allowable window before this treads into post resurrection...

If you guys liked Stranger Things, try Locke and Key on Netflix. Similar premise, and similar scare factor. If your kids was OK, with ST, this one should be fine as well. The wife & I quite enjoyed oit.

Watched the 5 episodes of Monsterland that Crave had available. I enjoyed them, I think it is getting trashed quite a bit on iMDB because people are expecting something else. For me, it seemed like it was more allegories and cautionary tales, with some actual monsters / mythical creatures thrown.

That was a great series!

So nice to see Curse of Oak Island back for another season. This will make my Senior parents 2020. They love that show.

I stream tv shows and movies to them. This will be like an early Christmas gift for them. Not much new to watch these days. Yet one of their favorite shows.

Mandalorian is also back.

I should definitely rewatch band of brothers. Probably Tour of Duty as well.

Despite my skepticism when Steve Carell left I decided to give the last two seasons of The Office a go.

Season 8 was surprisingly entertaining. Dwight carries the show with numerous funny moments, Andy is okay as the boss, Gabe creates some awkward laughs, and James Spader as Robert California is brilliant at times.

Season 9 though, what a disaster. I know the writers were hobbled by some of the actors leaving but it’s like they had no clue what to do with any of the characters or how to develop an interesting and coherent concluding story. The plot is all over the place. Dwight is still okay I guess but is overshadowed but very strange decisions with Andy and the completely manufactured Jim/Pam drama. Also revealing the documentary and making it part of the plot felt like a jumping the shark moment completely changing the tone away from being a show about an office. This should have been left to our imagination or at least revealed as an Easter egg in the finale.

I'm not going to proclaim this as the best show in the world, but I'm on the last season (5 in total) of Hell on Wheels. If you like westerns, you may like this. The reason why I'm bringing this show up is it is entirely filmed in Calgary and surrounding areas. I always enjoy watching a show filmed in the area and recognizing landmarks.
