Yeah bumps, bruises and broken bones/ribs.
Man ....Over the years it's amazing to hear what guys gutted thru to win 16 games and hoist the cup.

But we wouldn't know about that. I mean the NHL just won't let us score goals to get that far .
Do they know something we don't ? I'm beginning to wonder because it happens every time we're actually a playoff team goals magically become disallowed .

I guess Gary really wanted us to build a new building and until we do so the fix is in. ....just like those pucks were in.

I don't think Tkachuk was hurt at all. Everyone was convinced he was injured prior to game 7 vs DAL and then he exploded for a goal and then a hat trick in game 1 vs the Oilers, then disappeared.

I think after watching Tkachuk regular season vs the playoffs, I think it's safe to say there's very much an appreciable difference between the 2. The theory I had throughout the playoffs was that physically, Tkachuk just doesn't measure up in the post season.

In the playoffs, size and speed seems to be magnified. Dallas played big and Tkachuk was too undersized to power forward his way through the tough, heavy Dallas roster. Then the Flames moved on to play the Oilers who are built the exact opposite of the Stars, small, skilled, fast and Tkachuk suddenly couldn't keep up with the pace of play because of his poor skating.

It's tough for me to say because I'm a fan of Tkachuk and the top line, but we've seen a lot of Tkachuk in the playoffs and he's been very underwhelming. I thought this postseason would be different because of his new line, but that was no help. Thought Tkachuk's line was the best in 2020, but I think it's pretty obvious by now that it was mostly Backlund and Mangiapane carrying Tkachuk.

So, I don't know. I wouldn't mind Tkachuk back. But the fear of paying him $10M+ because he's a "Tkachuk" and they don't take discounts has me anxious that he could be a perennial playoff disappointment for the rest of his career.

I think he will hear Markstrom has a hip issue.

He could barely get off his knees in the third period.

If so, he for sure should not have been playing. Vladar has proved that he is a very good back up.

@Fan960Steinberg

Chris Tanev says he sustained his dislocated shoulder in game six vs. Dallas.

He’ll have labrum surgery next week. Timeframe is 4-6 months for recovery. #Flames

Oof. So a good chance he won’t be ready when the regular season starts next year. Just a tire fire sequence that led to it — ****ing Dallas…

Meanwhile, Markstrom wasn’t injured, he just sucked.

If this organization didn't have #### luck they'd have no luck at all.
And that is why it’s so important to finish off series as soon as possible.

It's crazy that this group can play that style of game for 82 games and get through pretty healthy.

While to the viewers eye the hockey isn't thaaaat much different, faster for sure, but I can't say it's was significantly more physical.

But after 11 playoff games I bet at least a third of the lineup has something significant.

Sutter said it in the last month of the regular season, Playoff success come down to 3 or 4 things 2 of which were luck and injuries.

That Dallas series really extracted it's toll.

Intensity and physically ramps up quite a few notches in playoffs.
