He is kind of falling into the same character. That's ok though, I am fine watching some more Walter White plotting to get out of jams he put himself in.

It's just so far fetched though. It feels like watching a F&F movie trying to be serious and clever. I like Cranston but it's such a cheese show.

When I first started watching it I thought it was a story about 4 psychopaths, and in a sense initially it was. Joe, Cameron, Donna and to an extent Gordon destroyed everything around themselves in pursuit of that one big idea.

In the end, they all though rediscovered their humanity (Ironic given the end). Extremely well acted and written with sharp dialogue, and one of the most satisfying endings that you could ask for from a series like this.

It was also cool to see the writers take on the evolution of the PC and how the Internet evolved.
Thank you for the recommendation. Really enjoyed it.

I watched the first 2 episodes as it was being released and decided I would be better off waiting to binge it. That said, now that I can I don't have a lot of motivation to do so.

It's a unique way to tell the story and I think I need to be in that kind of mood to consume it.

Has anyone started to watch 30 Coins on HBO ? The first 2 episodes aired last night and holy crap.

Like a Spanish cross between Constantine and The Exorcist. Generally not a fan of shows similar to that but hoooooly were the first couple episodes instense.

Just finished Mr.Inbetween on shaw-on-demand which is an Aussie show from FX.

May be one of the best shows I’ve seen in a long time, and is up for a 3rd season this year.

It’s about a Hitman who’s unique happy go lucky, lots of funny bits and only 24mins per episode. Give it a watch and see what you think, S1 is 6 episodes and S2 is 11.

Loved it!

Absolutely he's one of the more underrated actors today. His performance as John Brown is as good as it gets IMO.

Ted Lasso is exactly what everyone needs right now. It's honestly chicken soup for the soul combined with some fantastic laughs.

I had been recording episodes off of the Paramount channel for the wife and I.

The constant identical commercials cost me a set of batteries while Fast forwarding through them.

It was so annoying We missed a lot of things.

Once it hit Amazon Prime we binged all three seasons and now are left wanting more.

I am awaiting new seasons of:

Yellowstone
Animal Kingdom
Warrior

Probably a few more before the world resumes...

I just binged the first 3 seasons of Yellowstone as well, and I loved all of it. Outstanding series.

Just a reminder that The Rookie is back and still a pretty decent show! That is all.

So... my wife and I are re-watching Beverly Hills 90210. We're almost done the 3rd season. It's not quite so bad. There is some cheesiness since it is older but the show is still enjoyable. It's quite shocking that some of the issues that the show touches on are issues that we're still dealing with today, and we don't seem to have come very far from where we were 30 years ago. Racism, sexual assault, homelessness, etc.

In the first couple of seasons character development was not quite so complex. Theydealt with something in one episode and moved onto the next episode. In season 3 we start to see them expand issues over several episodes.

For my wife and I the show still holds up. It's a good nostalgia watch.

My only complaint is that they produced the DVDs for this and had to change a lot of the music due to licensing rights. It doesn't really take away from the show, but it would be nice to hear the music that was actually in style at the time of filming instead of something they tried to match with the times. It doesn't take away from the viewing experience, but we're aware that it's changed so we notice it. I found a site that shows the original music and was able to play a quick clip of each song, and it's quite shocking how my wife was immediately "That's when Brenda and Dylan broke up", "That's when Scott played a song in the school's radio booth and pissed of David". etc. etc.

Different shows - both really good.

Superhero or family drama on a ranch.

I'm in part 2 of season 4 of Vikings. Anybody watch this show?

I've been enjoying it, but am feeling rather off-put by the decision they made coming out of the Season 4 mid-season finale and wondering if its even worth it to keep going (I keep hearing about how it was great in early seasons, I'm wondering if I've hit the part where its now "post-apex"). Spoilers below:

For those with Amazon Prime and a love of Fleabag and similar comedies, check out Catastrophe.

I think many of us have watched Vikings as the first 3 seasons are quality TV. I ultimately stopped watching during season 5 because it just got bad.
