It was such a crappy attempt to be Breaking Bad Jr. I mean, the acting was fine, but it was so obvious what was going on and deus ex everywhere.

Not sure if this has already been mentioned, but we just discovered “From” on Paramount+. It’s definitely not perfect but they nailed that tense, spooky vibe. We’re only 4 episodes in but definitely hooked.

Hunters Season 2 dropped today. I'm looking forward to that.

The first movie was great and it's Mel Brooks.
I'll give it a try, not holding out hope though.

Completely true, but good enough for me. It's 20-30% silly, cringy, unbelievable coincidences and 70-80% very well done.
The premiere of Season 2 was fun enough, so I guess I'll keep watching. It's a bit of a desert at the moment for shows I care about. 1923 is about the only one with new episodes worth watching so far this month.
I wouldn't really call it a breaking bad jr as far as the show goes, but he is still playing Walter White for sure.

Bad Sisters (Apple TV+) is great.
If you like White Lotus …and you like Brit shows …you’ll love this.
Update: Just finished the last 2 episodes and it’s awesome. The rare example when I can say that my wife and I both agree that it’s one of our recent favourites. Can’t recommend it enough.

Thanks. Let us know if it holds up. Been thinking about giving it a go.

Anyone watching Paul T. Goldman? It’s a real trip. I don’t want to spoil anything but it’s a documentary about his marriage to a woman with a double life but it just keeps going off the rails.
Jason Woliner, who directed Borat 2, made it. Sadly it’s only on Peacock in the US so it’ll take some sailing skills to watch it in Canada.

It looks like it's available on CityTV+, which is an add-on available through Amazon Prime.

If any of you missed it in the Netflix thread, Wednesday is a good choice for a TV series.
Fun for all ages and it has been renewed for season 2.

Haha, no, my wife does though
Actually the older episodes of it aren't too bad, I watched a few of them with her on Netflix. But the show ran out of ideas a long time ago, it should've ended shortly after they offed Dempsey but it just keeps chugging along.

I hated the movie.
although I disliked everything he did in the 80's and after. (some moments in Spaceballs aside.)
He had a really long career, but tastes change and his type comedy grew old and stale.

Finished season 1 last night. Cliffhanger ending (of course) but it was good enough that I'm waiting impatiently for season 2 to come out in April. They're doing a good job of blending sci-fi and horror without going too far in either direction, and the production and acting are both pretty good. We really enjoyed it.

Is "Your Honor" any good? I like Bryan Cranston and I've been seeing ads for it.
