Lots of familiar faces from Clone Wars in that preview, it was good to see Rex, Wolf and Gregor in there, you have to wonder what happened to Cody though.
Hondo is back, for some reason I loved his character in Clone Wars, he had some of the best lines
I saw a great interview with Sarah Michelle Gellar who is playing the female inquisitor who is basically called the seventh sister, I was kind of hoping it was Barris though.
Clone Wars in its first year was kiddy fare, but as it moved on it got darker and darker, the last season after Ashoka left the order you could see that the galaxy was doomed to fall, and Anakin was incredibly flawed. I have a feeling that this series Disney and all has to go the same way.
On the tech front, we've seen some familiar stuff in season one, this year, they're rolling out the Interdictor which is funny because that is now a ship from the Legends EU, we also saw the prototype B Wing.
I'm hoping that we don't see a lot of Vader or Ashoka this year, because eventually they'll have to fight, and she'll have to die.

yeah she does, and Kaanan and Ezra can't have a happy ending either, to me there can't be any jedi left by the time ANH comes around except for Kenobi and Yoda.
Which means Kaanan has to die or Ezra has to die, or somebody goes dark and the other dies.

This season is finally on. If you haven't found it, it has been on Disney channel on Saturday nights. It appears on the block of shows that they call Disney XD on Disney. It seems that Disney XD re-launches on December 1st so I suspect it will move onto the that channel then.
The first couple of episodes have been slowly building towards what appears to be a promising season. An old friend of Ashoka's is found, and you get introduced to one of the hinted two new Inquisitor's. I don't want to spoil anything, so I will just say that the one we were introduced to does not seem to care for any of the imperials, only that he serves Darth Vader.
It was great to see Captain Rex, Wolfe and Gregor again old faces from TCW. I have to admit that the reunion of Rex and Ahsoka was a bit heart rending and handled really well.
I'm really looking forward to the next couple of episodes, the first one will introduce the two new villains for the season in the Inquisitors. The one after that brings back one of the best bit players from TCW's in Hondo.
This show has gotten better and better. as its gone along and while its tone is certainly lighter then the later years of TCW's, its certainly getting darker with Ahsoka trying to find out who Vader is though I think she knows already

Two there are introduces two new inquisitors, the Seventh Sister and the Fifth Brother.
While the Fifth Brother is the strong silent type and a brute, the Seventh Sister is played by Sarah Michelle Gellar with obvious glee. She's clearly the brains of the two and tries to seduce the location of Ahsoka out of Ezra while menacing his life. Its clear that Vader wants his former apprentice and has unleashed two Inquisitors. At first I was hoping that the female Inquisitor would be Barriss who betrayed the Jedi at the end of the Clone Wars, but this is a new and fairly threatening Inquisitor. We also found out the the Inquisitor from last year was the Grand Inquisitor and Sister wants his job.
The latest episode was the Brothers of the Broken Horn, this was an incredibly fun and humorous episode that bought back a familiar face from TCWs as an older and clearly fallen Hondo made his debut and was as manic and dishonest and funny as he was in the prior series. We found out that he used to be a captain and that the Empire has ruined him.
This was an Ezra and Chopper specific episode and we see that Ezra is bristling under the weight of his training and expectations.
Chopper continues to be the star of any show that he's in. Filoni had a great description of him in an interview last year where he compared the droids of Star Wars to family pets. He stated that R2D2 was like a dog, loyal to the end and always wanting to please. Chopper is more like a cat, a bit of a jerk who will help you when he wants to and is prone to erratic crazed behavior. In this one we see a droid that's not a battle droid pick up a blaster and use it as Chopper gets his hands on two guns and chases the villain in this one with erratic and chaotic results.
So many great lines and good action made this one of the stronger episodes in the series.

I just started watching this after binge watching clone wars, so far enjoyable, even if I have the Star Wars equivalent of beer goggles for most things Star Wars.
Ohmanohmanohman Mid-Season 2 trailer. A little spoilerish (nothing specific but does give ideas where the whole thing is headed)
EDIT: Who are the guys at 2:55?
First of all, holy crap.
Second of all, another broadsword light sabre, that's interesting.
Ok going to spoiler mode, because there's a lot to see
Spoiler!
first of all those guys at 2:55 look like temple guards, We last saw them in the Clone Wars, they're jedi's highly trained as protectors of the order
Ok, as to the lot we've seen.
We clearly see Ashoka having a vision of Anakin that confirms that she knows or has found out the truth about Anakin. We also see her showing Ezra a holo recording of Anakin in action.
We see Ezra talking with Yoda, he's had a vision of this before, we also see Ezra picking up what looks like a Sith Holocron. its clear that he's trying to find out more about the Darkside of the Force. He also is seen standing by a Sith Obelisk, its possible that he found a Sith Temple. Its seems to be coming down to his desire to become a jedi in season one when Yoda asked him why he wanted to become a Jedi? He wanted to become powerful, protect his friends and fight the Empire. He's having a similar discussion with Yoda in the trailor where he basically says, he wants to fight, and Yoda asks him the how question.
We know Ezra has felt the pull of the Dark Side before and used it, and he has recently learned that his parents are dead thanks to the Empire.
The old master has some familiar face markings, I had wondered what happened to him at the end of Clone Wars.
I think that we're going to see a split, the Jedi, fresh off the betrayal of the chosen one, might not want to take the chance that Ezra will betray the light side of the force as well.
We might see Ashoka facing her destiny as she confronts her old master. (BTW I loved the visual of her with the tear rolling down her face as she sees Vader on the ship
We finally see Hera's father, who had a major role in a couple of Story arcs and novels from the Clone Wars era.
Overall this looks really exciting
