Edit: not that I can tell from a google search. Linda Valimaki won a bronze for Finland in Vancouver. You'd think if they were related that would have come up.
Elite Prospects is usually good at tracking family relationships, and they don't have any link listed between the two Valimakis: http://www.eliteprospects.com/player.php?player=366547

TJ with the huge last lap comeback to win the heat in a photo and take the lead. Will it hold?

Bloemen drops to second place with 2 skaters left. Should be a medal for Canada.

I don't know if you guys know this already but when Ted Jan Bloemen decided to skate for Canada we, in Holland, "Englished" his name. We now call him TJ Flowers (because bloemen means flowers)

Looking forward to the 10K. Hopefully it's Sven vs. TJ in the final heat.

Time for a quick 1 hour power nap and then it's on to the Ladies Moguls final Qualifications and Finals, heats 3 and 4 of the Men's Luge, the Canadian Hockey Women's (couldn't figure out the right way to word that) first game of the tournament, and the Men's Biathlon 10km Sprint!

GO CANADA!!

Kramer looks like Monahan.

Haha, I was also thinking the Finnish power play looked better than the Flames.

The USA wins 3-1 in a very close and entertaining game. Great performance from the Finnish goalie.

The Canadian women look really fast against Russia so far.

Big miss for China in the 6th end of the Curling tie-breaker, allowing Norway to score 4 and take a 3 point lead with two ends left. It had been a close game up until then.

Canada with the 15-5 edge in shots in the first period. The score is still 0-0.

2 Canadians into the Women's Moguls Finals.

-----

Canada up 2-0 just over 4 minutes into the second.

-----

Norway won the curling tie-breaker over China. They will play Canada in the semifinal. They are the only team to defeat Canada in the round robin. Canada is guaranteed to play 2 more games. One win is a medal (win-lose and it's silver, lose-win and it's bronze), two wins are a gold.
