Nothing wrong with him spending off season away from Calgary. I would do the same.
He seems to only be a factor or win on international ice when it’s less physical and larger ice. That is the reality it seems.

The Avalanche have made a statement tonight. You'll have to bring your A game if you have any chance of beating us. The team with the best player usually wins the series. The Avalanche have the best player in this series. Like I said in my previous post. They remind me of the 2004 Flames team. They're going to be tough to beat. My heart breaks in saying this. But the Avalanche are going to.wim this series.

It’s been mentioned, however, this is probably exactly what the Flames need.
This was not a game decided by a bad break. They were embarrassed about as badly as you can be in a playoff game.
Game four will tell everyone what kind of response and character the Flames have.
Peters should call out some guys publicly and/or in the privacy of the locker room.
People are motivated in one of two ways. Positive or Negative Energy.
Peters should use the latter in this situation, IMO.
Let’s see how they respond.
