5 Canadians make the cut. 3 currently top 25.
Wow, what a great tournament so far for Canada.

I don't about anyone else but I much prefer the west coast tournies for time zone. I find I like to get settled into sports watching in the afternoon. You really got to be into sports watching mode early for these east coast tournaments.

I find myself turning the TV on around 2 or 3 and seeing the day's just wrapping up on these ones.

Brooke is now 6 under through 13. She's climbed up to T-13. Leaders are also putting in strong rounds. She's 2 shots out of 5th and has 2 par 5's left in her round.

Yes, MDFs get last place money.

That's very different from the golf term of 'earning a check' aka playing the weekend.

I'll be more careful with my posts in this thread, now that I know you are going to jump on every word I post.

Sloan is knocking on the door of a top 10.

Taylor needs a couple more birdies to solidify a top 20.

ouch. Sloan plays the bank nine + 4. Ties for 30th with Taylor.

Had Sloan played that stretch at even par he's in 9th place.

Svensson falls back 40 spots today. Silverman climbs 38 spaces.

If we could take 1 round per Canadian we'd have won the tourney.

Ames has one of the rounds of the day on the Champions Tour to climb 12 spots into a T-13.

Brooke finishes her tourney in a respectable 15th place. But man, they don't earn too much on that LPGA. Her T-15th place earned only $21K.

These guys need reps. That will build the confidence they need to close the deal.

Sloan is close to breaking through and being in the mix on a consistent basis. I really really like his swing. Palm Beach is not an easy course.

Ok, so has Global dropped the PGA tour? If so, no Canadian network carrying the weekly non-major tournaments. Clowns

Sure, but much more difficult to watch (legitimately anyway) online now.

And of course it turns out that Phil Mickelson had hired the college admissions scammer guy to help his kids find a college. Now Phil isn't charged with anything and claims they knew nothing of his illicit activities. The same Mickelson that profited from insider trades and skated on that little predicament with only having to repay the profits he earned.

I particularly enjoyed this quote from FIGJAM: "Our kids, schools are like fighting to get them," Mickelson said. "I say that as a proud dad. Their grades and outside activities and worldly beliefs are things that have colleges recruiting them. [Singer and his company] helped us through the whole process because it can be confusing."

Worldly beliefs...

So are we liking the new schedule? Seems strange the Players is now before March Madness, but I do like the PGA in May more than in August.

Definitely like it. Moving the PGA makes a lot more courses able to host it.

I like the Players in March. Those were the years I enjoyed watching it most. It had a lot more luster as the first big tournament of the year, than sandwiched between majors.

They are all dropping back in tough conditions.

If Nick Taylor can post -12 or -11 you never know!

This really is setting up as what could be a finish for the ages. 13 guys within 2 shots and the final group just now on hole 5.

Crazy. Both Ramn and Fleetwood dunk it in the water in the par 5 11th
