Sold Apple series 6 40mm space grey iwatch question/for sale

I received a Series 6 Iwatch that is 40mm but based on my wifes iwatch I don't think that it will fit my wrist. Does anyone know if the apple store will exchange with the difference paid for the larger version? The watch is still in a brand new unopened condition.

I also asked this question in the apple mega thread.

If it isn't possible to do an exchange then I will likely have a series 6 40mm space grey with black sport band for sale.

Edit: Apple wouldn't exchange without a receipt. After the advice of some members on cp I decided to open and try the 40mm. I think that I am going to like it.

Where was it purchased? The Apple store will let you return it within 15 days of purchase.

You could just pick up a new wrist band...official one from apple or aftermarket from amazon.


I use a couple of aftermarket ones just for a change of pace.

I imagine that it was purchased online. I won it through a promotion/draw from one of our suppliers.

I think that the larger band will fit my wrist but more thinking that it will look odd/small on my wrist. I don't want to take it out of the box and try it in case I won't like it.

I'm about an hour out of town too so not sure when I could go try a display on. I am planning on calling the store when they open at 11, but am worried that they might not be open to a swap without a receipt.
