Default Wanted: Vintage Lawn Darts

Looking for complete and incomplete sets of vintage style lawn darts (jarts). Mostly the ones made by Regent. PM me if you have any lying around

Just to be clear, are you looking for the lethal ones?

do you have any of the old style darts?? i had a bunch, but my problem was they were so old (like from the 70s) that the plastic wings were all broken.

i found these on amazon: https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B00...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

my hope was that i could break off the plastic tip thing and then transplant the wings to my old lawn darts. it worked perfect! it felt kinda odd breaking something that was brand new, but it was well worth it in the end to have 'real' lawn darts!

I found 2 vintage fins and bought them. I was thinking about doing the same but not sure it would have worked. Great to know. I have 2 complete sets now so am good for a bit. Doesn't take much to break fins

Everything is lethal with enough repetition.

If I had some, and I'm not saying that I do....you'd have to play me for them.

I get that they CAN be dangerous. As they are heavy, even though the points are blunt. We have old ones and play all the time. The pace is so slow that you just need to pay attention.

You have a WAY higher chance of injuring someone on the pond playing hockey than you do playing lawn darts. I’d feel more comfortable playing OG lawn darts with kids running around the yard than I would skating with buddies on a rink full of tiny ones. It’s somewhat hilarious to me that they were discontinued.

We played with real lawn darts once at Sylvan Lake. Just the once thanks to my cousin.

Kind of moot but, no.

Over a period of eight years, lawn darts had sent 6,100 people to the emergency room. 81% of those cases involved children 15 or younger, and half of those were 10 or younger. The majority of injuries were to the head, face, eyes or ears, and many had led to permanent injury or disability.
