But if you and the shadows want to chuckle secretly have at er. Things are slow these days I guess.
IMO, there should be tighter moderation in the buy and sell because some of these comments can affect the sale. It's been so problematic that Facebook groups has tightened rules against this and kicked people from these groups, but for some reason, CP moderators dont want to set or enforce them.

If you guys dont agree with the pricing, just move along and let the seller figure out by himself. If you really feel like adding something constructive, just message the OP. No need to be an ass about it

My last post on this, but to share what happened today sums up CP overall. Guy comes picks up TV, I have it setup at front door ready to demo him, he says no worries CP is gold standard for buying things and he trusts.

Does EFT and he tales the TV. Asks if he wants me to stick around until the email comes. I said no worries I trust you and he was gone in 5-10 mins start to end. Then boom the email comes in later.

The trust factor here is so important. If someone is dishonest we need to boot them quick, but if they have a good history we need to give them courtesy and respect.

Nice Dutch. 100% Agree. I never have a second thought about selling (mostly tickets) on CP to any poster with history. It's a whole different ball game on Kijiji where I also sell often (tickets and Lego).

This might be right in general but I don't think this thread is a good indication. And frankly, I think if Kijiji had people price policing it might be better, some of the people on there are delusional.

In this thread though you had one guy question the price and like 7-8 others, me included, talking about how the TV is fantastic despite being older, and is fairly priced. I don't think it did anything but help, in this case.

For the record, nobody reported any of the posts in the thread. We cannot moderate what we don't see. By the time I noticed them the OP had already responded. (I also happen to know the OP from having bought electronics from him, so I know first hand that he is a good guy.)

Had the post been reported, more than one of us could have seen it. We didn't necessarily need to issue any infractions; just delete a few posts and add a reminder about threadcrap. (Is how I would have handled it.)
