No doubt. The surest way to prove the fraud he’s claiming (before it happens) is to cause it.

I expected Trump to be a sheet show, I expected him to lie and bully and to say stupid stuff.
I thought Biden would be better, but he was really underwhelming in this debate and I think his team did a really poor job of preparing him.
Trump probably won't see much of a drop in his ratings, but I don't think that Biden is going to gain anything, and the undecided number might actually grow.

Trump was supposed to crush Biden in the debate and close the gap...that certainly didn't happen

Honestly, I think that performance is the type of the thing that probably convinces any remaining holdout leftists (save for the most petulant) to get their asses out and vote. I doubt there were that many left who were actually going to risk another 4 years of Trump anyways, but that felt like the final straw.

It's weird that he didn't even seem to try and close the gap. He needed to reach out to the voters he had in 2016 who have soured on him over these years.
And sure, maybe he's given up any hope of winning legitimately and is now just trying to sow as much chaos as possible... but he probably still needs the results to be kinda close in most swing states for that option to be on the table.

Fact is... Biden is ahead in the polls. Trump needed to win over folks to his side. That didn't happen. Undecided voters are fewer in number compared to 2016. I doubt that the undecided number will increase appreciably.

Really? I figured the strategy was to go into this and let Trump make himself look like an idiot. Counterpunch here and there, but let Godzilla stumble around the stage, act like a three year old, and hope he says something so outrageous that it rings in the zeitgeist for the next couple weeks. Well, Trump went full Godzilla, wouldn't shut up, and told a violent racist group to be ready. That is going to be the narrative coming out of this, and it is going to resonate with independents and even some of Trump's base. Biden didn't do any damage to Trump tonight, mostly because he wasn't trying to. It really looked like he was instructed to just stay out of the way, and it worked. Trump destroyed Trump.

From what I've seen Trump looked like a total idiot as usual and Biden just kept saying "look at this idiot being an idiot"

Yeah I don't don't know who can come out of that debate undecided if you had a pick before. This debate didn't move the needle at all. The undecided vote stays the same, and if anything probably a small uptick for Biden.

Some of these “undecided” voters in Ohio on CNN are totally in the bag for Trump.

Can you imagine another candidate in history telling white supremacists to "stand by" and that not just be the end right there?
