Taking a while to get to 5000
|
Also, with Clifford now gone I expect Doughty to be nice and quiet.

The kings still have Macdermid who is one tough hombre and a much better enforcer than Clifford. Luckily Lucic is with the Flames to offset.

Ahh that's right. He's usually in and out of the lineup though is he not? Regardless, you're right. Lucic (and even Rinaldo perhaps) there to cool things down.
Edit - Though Lucic being a former King means he isn't touching any of his buds.

Hopefully Lucic doesn’t have many friends left on the Kings from his time there.

Pure speculation, but I'd be very surprised if Yelesin does not crack the lineup tonight or tomorrow.

Throw him out there tomorrow. He knows not of the curse.

Curse is over. Jobu did his thing. We won there earlier this season. So undefeated this year.
We are 2-3-0 going back to 2018. I will gladly take that record over the streak that will not be named.

I'm very excited to see Yelesin. In the summer, he seemed fleet of foot and physical.

Yelesin will become the first Russian to play for the Flames in 13 years. Andrei Zyuzin was the last one.

It's pretty nutty that the Flames haven't had a Russian play forward for them since Saprykin was traded to Phoenix in the Langkow deal in 2004.

They play on PP2 together. Both of their goals were scored on the man advantage in SJ.

They’re good on the road. For me the real test will be when they get back home.

They still run MacDermid don't they? That's the big goon guy for them.
